Keep meaning to get round to sticking 4 on my ageing h100i. Id like to replace the fans on my 780t white corsair case but the stock ones have pretty white lights on them
Aaah, gotta love some lights.

So Matt, now the news is out, what does it feel like from a Rep point of view? obviously were still waiting the FuryX reviews and full release etc.
How long have you known how good the FuryX was? and can you give any clue or hint towards the future of the Fiji and HBM, will we likely see an 8GB version? or will that be HBM2 stuff?
Also about HBM and AMD cpu's, could they bolt HBM to a Zen CPU to increase its performance do you think? no doubt an APU with HBM would probably be a monster.
Are we far away from HBM2?
All questions i cannot answer Si, I'm afraid.
All i can say is, I'm extremely excited about the Fury X, HBM, DirectX 12, and the future. First to market with HBM, it can only mean good things.

Well the new 300 series/fury 15.20 drivers rock!
Installed on my 290x and seen a 9.1% gain in 3dmark already.
Going to test in some games now.
What are the best drivers at the moment for the 290Xs ?

No mention off Vulkan
That i do not doubt. The Noctua 2,000 and 3,000 RPM PPC and PWM are the best fans I've ever used.
Im using the 140mm Noctua NF-A14 IndustrialPPC PWM 3000RPM High Performance Fans
Love them, top quality!
However the Fury X fan looks godly, so these Noctua's could be facing early retirement into the girlfriends rig, where they will lead an easy life of watching videos online, combined with a bit of Mantle cool Plants Vs Zombies.
My bad Pete, i love Mantle so I'm just as excited about Vulkan, as i am about DirectX 12.
Am I missing something? The Fury X itself looks awesome, but the fan just looks like an ordinary fan...it hasn't got LEDs that we don't know about does it?
When can 2xx owners expect the performance improvement etc. from the modded windows 10 drivers running on w7/8.1 matt?
Shame there won't be an air cooled Fury X as I want to put my Thermosphere waterblocks to work.
Seems pointless to buy a Fury X only to take the watercooling off and put watercooling back on - esp as it looks like it wont be possible due to the vrm heatsinks being integrated into the cooler on the fury x rather than a seperate heatsinks on the plain fury like other air cooled cards.
Still, if the plain fury gets withing 5% of the fury x then I still might plump for a couple of plain furies
I can't comment on any driver (performance) that we've not officially released via our usual channels Nexus, as I'm sure you know. We will never hold back performance.
