**AMD Fiji Thread**

This HBM memory as I have said before is like, living down the road to ASDA with GDDR5, to getting kiosk in ASDA and living there. ;)

Crazy times and I love it, not that I will buy it straight away but it can only be a good thing for us in the long run ! ;)

Hi,

Nice analogy. The 4GB part is the Porsche Boxster in the garage because you're waiting for the new 997 to be released.

:p

Amd said in that test it beats a single 295x :p impressive haaa

On a serious note, you have to be careful with non standard massive resolutions as things you take for granted start to fail or not work at all like CF or overclocks. So if a 295X2 is not up to it, it does not come as a surprise.

The thing I really don't like about seeing these massive resolution setups is you hear the good things like look at this run but they don't share the bad stuff and problems with people.

Slightly OT but has anyone actually seen one of those reference 3x series card with the fury styling heatsink anywhere? Seems to be something that was on stage at e3 and in reviewers guides but doesn't exist outside of that.

Already running 1440p with 4GB you have nothing to worry about.

I'm actually thinking of getting the Asus MG279Q (IPS, 1440p, 144hz, Freesync) to replace my 4K Iiyama as my gaming monitor. Partly because then I don't need to worry about the 4GB @ 4K issue with the Fury X, but also so I can do 144Hz. I'm not actually worried about Freesync, especially as it only does up to 90Hz/fps.

How are you finding 1440p IPS (?) @ 144Hz?
Do you bother with Freesync? What range does the BenQ have for Freesync?
