Well I assume the tesselator would be a new design? Unless they reused the same block/s from GCN1.2, but Fiji taped out a long time after Tonga. OTOH though they're obsessed with penny-pinching atm so maybe they're just sticking with the driver uplift.

It should imagine it'll just be Tonga gcn1.2 based, but with more throughput from scaling the arch up by double.

Guess technology moves on and we can't expect Amd to keep up with Hdmi2 either then.
 
Who in AMD thought it would a really good, no, a GREAT idea to put the textured, good looking side where you'll never see it*, and then take the featureless side, put some dirty great ugly stickers on it, and place it where you'll ALWAYS* see it!



*For those of us with a windowed case, of course

why pci-e have to be vertical to the mobo :D , would be great to see a horizontal one, to finaly see the front of the card not it's butt.
