Good on you Greg for digging that one post out and fitting it for your own agender. Miss the other post out that I clearly state AMD have issues with 2020 release! I dont but it doesn't mean others dont! Its Navi that is most affected and its again "SOME" users

Does it make me feel better? What pish you spitting out now! the feeling doesn't come in to play I out here stating facts!

Nvidia can do no wrong!! It all ways gets pushed aside or pushed onto something else that games fault in Apex legends case.
It isn't just that one post though is it? You actually care that much about NVidia issues that you copied and pasted the whole bloody thing. Quite sad really. I am a bit more open minded and both have issues from time to time and that is the way of it. I personally hope everyone has 'problem free' gaming, as it is our fun time hobby.

I am having this issue in the AMD driver thread with EastCoastHandle. Guy keeps saying yea but how about Nvidia. Nvidia this Nvidia that. Screams fan boy. It’s like dude this is an AMD driver thread. AMD just fixed a whole bunch of issues, so clearly there are loads of them yet you are going on about what about nvidia? Such a weak fanboy argument.

Whole bloody thing? Lol Gregster it's the release note for the driver recently released.

Chill lol

That is the typical fanboy response. No Nvidia user claims Nvidia GPUs and driverse are flawless, just that they tend to be more reliable over long tine periods.

Rubbish
Go pop in the nvidia official forums

Just look at this lol you don't hear people speak out its the driver been happening since November!

People do not often speak out about nvidia driver issue because they feel they is nothing wrong and always point the blame elsewhere.

Whilst I don't have an issue with it but this thread isn't a driver thread and no need for 'point scoring' over which GPU has the best drivers. I appreciate things are a little quiet on the GPU front but is there any need for bashing?

To be fair, we're bashing their drivers, so its only right, they should bash ours.

Ive no problem with it.

What i find funny is i have primarily been running ATI/AMD for close to 20 years and have had a smooth experience with drivers. Sure there has been the odd hickup but nothing that has ruined my experience. Pretty sure if it had been Nvidia things would be the same. Imo the real game changing issues are mainly caused by the person operating the PC or faulty hardware. Either that or i should have been putting more lottery tickets on due to my good luck.

Could the increase in issues be due to more people buying AMD now Ryzen has raised the awareness of them? AMD generally allow more tinkering and are less idiot proof. A working hypothesis?

While not concrete there will be a mention during AMD's Financial day about new GPU's incoming specifically the quote below, apparently Microsoft will be there showing off Ray tracing tech they produce /w AMD.

Those are the relevant parts of the event. Before and after is Lisa Su talking about the potential of RDNA2, three new RDNA2 GPUs, highest end is 18.x TF for $999. Talks about TSMC and how amazing the partnership has been, 7nm+ faster than ever and 5nm tracking even faster.

Of course take with a grain of salt.

Mhm... 50% more efficient than RT cores? Then why is AMD slides saying to only expect limited scope RT, doesn't make sense.

Up to 40% higher performance with VRS? When's every game that supports it so far only showing 10%? Another mhm... moment

50% faster is still slow / large performance hit.

Doubt I'll be interested for another 2-3 years.

If they have found a way of implementing chiplet design for GPUs that will be amazing, why just stop at two chiplets!

Intel maybe using a similar design for its XE GPU the problem they have run into is power draw trying to connect all the tiles so the is sees it as one package. AMD might have had similar problems.
