PC gamers: Ray tracing is a must for highest IQ regardless of the performance impact.

Also PC gamers: Turns every advanced image quality setting to low, or off, for maximum FPS and better visibility in games.

Has there been any genuine leaks yet or are we still arguing over theoretical performance and watching YouTube videos of neckbeards with insider information?

The last one, defiantly the last one....

Hell no... Far more interesting chatter about retro tech and "stuff from the past" broke out. Actually some interesting non waffle conversation, nothing about the product to be fair but still it's been fun.

Yeah it beats the crap out of pretend raytracing theory and the gen z millennial know-it-alls spouting verbatim from t'internet.

Yeah, i'm quite happy.... that is until the new £400 cards arrive.

ive just bought a sapphire 5700xt to replace my 50th AE 5700xt which is going into my VR rig. had a bill for my car which is around £850-£900 so the new AMD card may have to wait. No doubt ill get FOMO and jump for one anyway. I just want some pretty RT for cyberpunk

I was looking at global illumination using RT.. after watching few arguments breaking out here..seems it can be implemented inexpensively even with single bounce.. it's tough to believe that RT is indeed the big revolution folks are talking about.. it's more like an intricate cheat to hide the more obvious ones. RT might be one of the most expensive graphics experiments till date.

I was of similar opinion and although its something to consider, not the new garlic bread as people are making out.

There has been nothing substantial yet aside from the 3 benchmarks from the AMD presentation which aren't even using final drivers/may not represent launch specs and no reveal as to what the hardware actually is or what tier aside from it looks like a 3080 competitor.

I think the only thing that is certain right now is that AMD have exceeded Turing's performance - contrary to some who thought they'd struggle to top the 2080ti.

Nope, had it undervolted to 970mv with a target speed of 1900mhz, it was genuinely impressive and ill defend it all day long. i lost around 3fps in games but well worth the trade off

Yeah i did the same but even then it was still noisy, really cheap fans and the cooler its self was a piece of crap, and the shroud rattled.

I lost my enjoyment of it, it just wasn't something i was content with, it was always in my mind and my ears so it had to go.

Well... i still have it. don't know what to do with it yet.
