Hah - that is what you'll get when they don't like what you are saying and aren't interested in trying to find information to debate over it.

PS Personally I'm a big fan of RT and want to see it succeed so I have no interest in talking down AMD's ray tracing - I hope they knock it out the park so things move along quicker but I'm also being realistic.

Should have bought a 7 :) Mine isn't really that loud at all. Sometimes.

you should get a decent return on it? it'll be a good chunk towards a new card either way.

Yea they seem to be holding value pretty well. They hold a bit of a space for people because of the vram buffer, massive bandwidth etc. IMO they are actually great cards, sure they aren't the fastest gaming card in the world but as a do it all card - Perfect!

How much are 5700's worth these days still gotta be worth a few quid and somebody will just zip tie it until it doesnt rattle. Job done.

They may have done innocently, they may have been naive enough to trust Nvidia or they may just have liked the money. I actually don't mind if AMD, Intel or Nvidia pay reviewers for articles as long as that is made clear, which Digital Foundry did make it clear it was Nvidia paid content, it was a for review of their products and for any self-respecting reviewers that's a big fat "NO" you don't take money to review products, that makes you an advertising arm of the vendor masquerading as an independent.
Predictably Nvidia set out the parameters for the review and those parameters were designed to make the product look better than it actually was. Digital Foundry still went ahead with it knowing this, that's their credibility out of the window.

I don't know of, or perhaps even ignored that. Must be my inbuilt auto BS immunity :D

They are good at providing tech insight.
 
tbh let them take Nvidia's money, they're only digging themselves into a hole they may not escape from.

If their numbers prove to be accurate in the real world then no harm no foul. If their numbers prove to be paid tosh then they've destroyed their credibility and lose viewers. I wonder which of the two has actually happened...
