This is the type of GPU wars we need to see, as consumers we need to see AMD and Nvidia taking shots at each other, although we dont actually know yet if AMD have anything actually decent lol.
 
I just hope we don't have another hype train which gets derailed by the reality of the event. So I am going to hope AMD has a decent RTX3080 competitor,and anything else is a bonus!

3060Ti was rumoured since long time ago.
If there is a new Nvidia card between 3070 and 3080,that means rumours about big navi performance being somewhere between 3070 and 3080 is correct.
and most likely Nvidia found out that big navi’s price is going to be somewhere between 3070-3080 so this card will tackle that.

3080 is 17% more GPU than the 3070TI, the 3090 is 20% more GPU than the 3080 and is <15% faster. the 3080 will be little more than 10% faster than the 3070TI.

Nvidia are cramming all their mid to high-end GPU's together, from the $600 3070TI to the $1500 3090 there is a 25% performance difference, that's the sort of #### you would do if you are expecting to be equalled at the high end with the competitors mid level GPU.

#### i hope AMD beat the 3090 with an $800 card and beat the 3080 with a $600 card.

What are you going to do with that Nvidia? How are you going to deal with that? hum? chump?

Theory is a wonderful thing, assuming anyone has stock.
