Yeah, i had the same thing on the 7870XT at 1215 or higher, more volts usually reduced it.

This is actually what it looks like, just no where near as extreme, its lights like that mostly in Chimney Smoke.

AMD vrms can take it, but yeah if clocking i'd try and keep them below 90c. Lower the better really.

I get green or purple flashes when my core is not getting enough voltage.

Your lucky your 6990 didn't Kombust :o i don't think the VRM's were rated for that on them.

Perfoverlay.framefilelogenable 1 to start recording and 0 to stop recording. Use my User.cfg as well, if you're not already. Puts all the relevant needed info on the screen.

I've also included the frame time calculator tool so you can use that to display all the goodies after you're done.

Yep it was pretty ridiculous, I said no thanks. They're my local store but I don't think I'll buy from them again.
