Nvidia have had the single GPU performance bracket of Titan all to themselves for 8 months and the 780 bracket for 3 months. AMD have had nothing to compete with that and i have heard that sales for Titan and the 780 have been fantastic.

Nvidia have been laughing for 8 months selling the Titan at a stupid price because of no competition and still not being able to keep up with demand.

They arent stupid, they knew AMD would bring something along that would match/beat Titan eventually.

the 7990 is cheaper than a 780 yet far faster than a titan ;)
