Am I missing something? (Sorry to perpetuate this topic) Wouldn't the vertical resolution stay the same in eyefinity, thus essentially being 11520x2160...nowhere near what is likely to be 12K. If it was 11520x6480 he'd potentially have a point right?

I've come close with some of the deals on MM,
I've decided that if we've still got the same info come friday, i'm getting two of the 280X toxic cards. ... ... Probably.

Those Toxic 280X's are very nice, beastly setup in crossfire.
Could always pick up 290X later on when prices tumble, 20nm should hopefully disrupt the market, bring prices down..

Is there any news on 20nm? it seems both AMD and Nvidia are gearing up to sticking with 28nm for a while yet.

It's by my choice, I took out the Q6600 from it for my sons machine. This things served me well but it can't render HD video for ****
I'm very close, but I've waited this long so may as well give it another week or so

lol what happened? I went for lunch and came back and found two extra pages.
Anyway I finally got round to start playing Batman Arkham Asylum, this should keep me occupied till 290 launch, whenever the hell that's gonna be.
I'd surprise that my overclocked 5850 can still hold solid 100-120fps, but then again most of the things in this game take place indoor
Get both?

1440P obviously. Don't really understand why someone with two titans would want a 290X.
Especially given the importance you've made of 6gb of ram.
