Even if something is declared as a gift and has a lower price marked the customs guys can still charge you a fee this happens when something is obviously marked lower than its value so say a graphics card or a mobile phone. Some people get things shipped in plain packaging to avoid it happening or rely on the customs guys not knowing the true value of the items, when they see an iphone 5 come through marked at £20 they know it isn't worth that. I have only been caught out with a hot toys model which they must have known was worth more than the £25 it was marked at. best of luck.

Getting bit out of hand now, supposed to be a graphics card thread.

Highly recommend one of these monitors, if interested though.

Nothing wrong with the Korean screens, my shimmy is perfect, no dead pixels. Beautiful screen. Though I do think UK prices are good enough now not to warrant buying abroad. When I bought my Shimian UK prices were a joke. Still best screen I have seen, think was £220 all in. Will use this right up until it dies :p

Dell do some awesome 1440P panels Gregster, if I was you that is where I would spend my money.

1440P obviously. Don't really understand why someone with two titans would want a 290X. :)

Especially given the importance you've made of 6gb of ram. ;)

1440p all the way Greg,.son. It's nice having a new toy but in the last 4 year my Dell 27hm is my best buy by far. Its awful going back to a 1080p screen when I have to fix stuff for people as it seems so pixelated and cluttered. Besides the real estate, the clarity of games and the sharpness of them is eye-bleedingly good. I'm not saying Dell are the best option for you but the warranty is second to none

New screen :D

I am down to one Titan and have only been gaming on 1 1080P screen and not missed the other 2. I still use 2 screens (one for gaming and the other for monitoring). The Mrs is using my other 1080P as her monitor is a crappy acer thing that doesn't even do 1080P.

I may well get another Titan when prices drop or xmas bonus but for now, I am not fussed and frames on one screen are more than acceptable.

Go for a nice Dell 1440P screen, a single Titan should be fine, although I guess you could sell your Titan now and re-coup most of it's value and replace with 290X, and save a few bucks, lot of hassle selling though.

Titan + 1440P screen ftw.

Ahhh reminds me of that Christmas song "Chestnuts roasting on an open case with a fan blowing next to it to try and keep the heat down but that aint working, so have to open all the windows and Jack frost nipping at your nose" I love that one and it is my fav :D

No way I am selling my Titan. I was gutted selling the second one and have regretted it since. I will look at the Dell ones but they look a little over my budget in truth.

I started a thread here to allow this thread to stay on topic.
