It started off as just tiny flickers of corruption like that, but after a couple of days it got to the point where my screen would completely flicker off and on whenever I was at the main menu of the game. As soon as I got into a game, it would stop, which was weird...

Using the new cable I just got (in one of the ports that it actually works in) I've not had a single flicker all day, so it seems to have solved the issue.

Any ideas why crossfire isnt working with Battlefield 4?

Edit: Ok just realised that Crossfire only works in fullscreen mode... Great. I NEVER play my games in fullscreen mode. Always borderless windowed. AMDMatt, are there any plans to make crossfire work in windowed modes? Can't understand why it only works in fullscreen mode....

It works in Borderless/Windowed mode if you use Mantle, but not currently in DX11.
 
With regards to True Audio not showing up in Thief, I had the same problem when I first installed my 295. Pretty certain that I ended up uninstalling and then reinstalling my drivers and that sorted it out.

Well i fixed the ram issue.

It was the page file.

Also, the reason it was also crashing, was i had the CV @ -60 :eek:

At -50 it runs perfect :D
Will test -55 now.
So glad i sorted that out.

Got 5960X, Asus Rampage V Extreme Intel X99, G.Skill Ripjaws 4 16GB (4x4GB) DDR4 PC4-21300C15 2666MHz Coming tomorrow, as i need raw power for work stuff. oh and will use it for gaming :D

so i might ask for some tips on clocking that 5960X matt if that's ok ;)
 
Over the past few days I've found myself looking at getting a 295x2. Problem is I still only have my 660w Seasonic Platinum PSU, it's been reviewed to be able to do more than 660w but not sure I would feel comfortable and the thought of having to spend another £150 for a new PSU as well turns me off the idea. Anyone know what their rig pulls at the wall with one of these with an overclocked CPU, 4.6ghz 3770k here.
 
Sorry, but there isn't a cat in hell's chance it'll work on a 660W PSU. I had a budget 850W supply and my PC shut down whenever I loaded a game. You'll need a decent 850, or a 1000W if you want to be sure imho.
