using my custom watercooled 295x2 and 3 dell U2515H monitors 7860x1140.
using latest omega drivers on windows x64 8.1
first game i have tried is bf4 all on ultra. not using AA.
card running 1140gpu 1625 memory.
using fraps getting over 60 fps using mantle. totaly blown away.
these dell U2515H monitor quality is truly amazing. they have a matt finish but loads of colour like a glossy finish.
will try some more games and post results.
monitors came with minidp to dp cables and run, straight away.
Matt
In Thief I don't seem to have the option for 'Convulution Reverb: Hardware' (True Audio.)
It worked fine when I tested it last year, but back then I only had a 290x and I was using the HDMI output from that card.
On the 295x2 I use 1x DisplayPort to my desktop monitor (1440p) and 1x DisplayPort to my Big Screen Panny 58AX802B (2160p)
But for audio I use the DVI - HDMI adapter that came with the card, and that feeds directly in to my A/V Receiver.
Could that be why I can't select 'Hardware'?
Uncompressed audio (7.1) works fine, but perhaps True Audio on the 295x2 is only enabled via DisplayPorts?
I thought the 970's and 980 were only efficient if you didn't "clock the nuts off it"
Thought I had seen really large (AMD comparable) wattage on overclocked cards.
It seems as though i didn't post in here. I am now an owner of a 295X2. Games run flawlessly at 1440P, this is coming from a 970 SLI setup. I haven't seen the temperatures exceed 62 degrees and it lights up red!
I am now trying to sell my wife to afford another cause it would look bad ass but she isn't worth that much
Did you solve the problem with the rattling fan?
I didn't unfortunately. Hopefully sending it back today. However the performance is blindingly fast!
I use borderless because im multiscreen and the whole alt+tab mess, particularly with battlefield crashing. To just check an email, reply to a message in skype, stuff like that its really useful. Can I just ask, why wouldn't you use Fullscreen? It works in Borderless/Windowed mode if you use Mantle, but not currently in DX11.

New 295x2 owner here - WHAT A CARD!! Crysis 3 full on and hardly noticing a drop below 60 fps here. Oh and temps at about 50 currently. Can't wait to put this card through its paces a bit more. Just got to rebuild the whole system into a new case this weekend - current case space limited and meant that the rad and fan are bolted outside the case - ugly but effective!!
Vincent i have an update for you.
Have you disabled any start up items, specifically AMD ACP Application? If not then i recommend a fresh install of 14.12 Omega and TrueAudio should be available in Thief.
I've checked internally and TrueAudio has not been disabled in Thief or the drivers.
I performed a fresh install of 14.12 myself just now and TrueAudio was available in to use in hardware form.
Still not available.
What audio card are you using? I'm using the audio straight from the 295x2.
Like I said, it's DVI to HDMI so perhaps that is the problem?
Do not hesitate to post a picture of your setup
I would love 3 monitors but I got used to 144Hz benq and getting 3 of those and then getting 120 fps in game would need another 295x2
