I thought as much. I was expecting it to say -0.005mv, -0.010mv, -0.015mv etc. Not just -1, -2, -3 etc

I think there's a tweak you can make in afterburner so it does display the actual voltage so it appears like that. My bad really, just got into the habit of saying that as that is how much the voltage is actually dropping or increasing.

If you get issues, dial it back a few notches.

Incidentally, i could still max out the memory at 1625Mhz on both of my 295's with the voltage at -0.050v.

Try -0.050v in Afterburner, disable ULPS and enable unified gpu usage monitoring and away you go.

If you save this profile to option one in Afterburner, then go to settings>profiles you can have it auto apply when your pc boots up. This saves time!

The above is entirely optional by the way, but these are my personal recommendations.

If you get any instability with the gpu, back the voltage down to -0.025v.

You might want to take a look at my Crossfire guide thread. Walks you through the basics and will help you setup an overlay to monitor gpu specifics, if that sort of thing floats your goat.

No changes needed, stock is perfect in CCC.

I've just ran heaven at 1080p with all the settings maxed and scored 2705, is that right?

Sounds about right for 2 GPU's.

I got 2646 with just the 295x2 and 3682 with an additional 290x

Sweet, apart from the install which needed a bit of DIY on my case this has been a lot simpler than I thought.

Hitting the 200fps cap in BF4 is nice

This User.Cfg file will give you a 500FPS cap, something you'll need QuadFire and Mantle to hit.

Temps are fantastic so far, -50mv and the highest temps recorded in afterburner whilst playing BF4 was 58.

Still don't get why would you undervolt if its not overheating in stock ? That's a nice heaven score, what CPU do you have ?

Quieter, cooler, lower power consumption. I usually do it on all my cards.

3770k @ 4.6ghz

I undervolted because I heard the 295x2 chips are binned 290x cores and Matt recommended it and he knows a fair bit more about these cards than I do. No point running them at the stock volts if they can do a fair bit less!
