AMD RDNA3 unveiling event

Amazing. I will attempt to get a nitro. That was top of my list from the start. What time will they go up for order?

They shall be pre-order, no Nitro have arrived yet, got 10-20 due next week and literally be first come first served, I'd expect a long wait on custom cards, so set your expectations now that anyone ordering a custom card probably wont see it until January/February.

That’s seems like a large spread in power figures. Could someone please add reference figures for compariosn

Will be interesting to see how much extra performance it comes with.

Just sharing the information, does mean the Nitro cards have upto around another 50W of power delivery to play with and the coolers are superb on them in performance. Like REALLY GOOD!

Thanks Gibbo. Do you know what the Red Devil TDP rating is and will you have any stock tomorrow?

TUL have not shared that info yet, it is 3x 8 Pin and minimum PSU recommendation is 900W !
No stock yet, but on the way, might be here in time but again it is 10-20 units, so set your expectations for a long wait, like Jan/Feb !!!

If I’m understanding you correctly, are you saying the nitro 7900xtx could be pulling up to 470w with an overclock?

Did someone say overclockers dream  :D

I’m also looking to get a 7950x3d so that time frame works for me.

It is reported the cards clocks scale horribly with voltage, not much gain for high power draw, guess we will soon find out.

MSRP you all know, we won't have any cards at the MSRP, but some will be close as within 5-10%

If only some within 5-10% of the MSRP then I guess that means they are reference cards. Now if reference cards arent even hitting the MSRP I fear we'll have a 4080 situation again with cards sat on shelves unless performace turns out to be higher than expected.

This is my concern also. But there must be a reason that aibs are doing this though, no?

Better cooling, less noise.

Possible, we have nearly 1000 cards now, they may sit around or they might sell out, only time will tell, 4090 flies out, 4080 sales are slow but no doubt tomorrow all GPU sales will pick up as everything is out in the open and people can make a decision on what high-end to flagship card they wish to buy.

4080, 4090 & 3 slot 7900 will not work in my tower case with a vertical GPU mount so I'm looking at the reference 7900 as less hassle than making a DIY mesh panel!

7900xtx mba cards are the way to go with the 2x8pin. ITX users will jump for joy since high power psu's are still not that widely available yet.

Depending on the model breakdown, there's over $2 billion in hardware just waiting to be sold, given the MSRPs and potential volume spread. "Verified from multiple sources," Kyle Bennett said. "amdradeon will ship over 200K 7900 XT and XTX GPUs in Q4. Over 30K reference cards on shelves on launch day."

Erm? No.... 200,000 units at $1000 each amounts to $200 Million
