Whilst I agree you have to take all of these TY leaks with huge pinchs of salt these leaks have been very accurate for the past couple of generation.

Here is a 4K RT set of games showcased. Seems the 4090 is at least 25% faster in all scenarios which means the 7900xtx actually has very decent RT performance... if true, will find out for sure when reputable reviewers release their results.

Pinch of salt snorted and watched some other reviews so I can now see how this one was manipulated. In this video , unlike his other ones , he shows the gpu clocks and he has overclocked the XTX by over 300mhz (approx 15%) whilst the 4090 is running at stock clocks. This closes the gap between the cards and if his other videos were also with this overclock it would explain why it was 10-15% faster than the 4080 on average.

7900xtx is decent card and looks to be 30% faster than 6950xt which is around the average for a generational step up. What it does mean is that if it is not cheaper than a 4080 it is not worth buying, it has to be cheaper imho.
 
What does Gibbo mean by Sapphire MBA cards? I see there are 2 Sapphire cards on the page that's gone live..

Am I correct in saying that all the cards that have the reference design will be available, but the ones like Aorus and red devil cards won't be until January?

ONLY Sapphire reference is in stock, hundreds of them!
Custom cards arriving over coming weeks, realistic ETA Jan/Feb.
 
I've gone ahead and updated my OCUK account details to make sure everything goes smoothly tomorrow during purchasing.
I'm just mindful that these might fly off the shelves.. Or they might not.. Best to be prepared. It's been a 15yr wait for tomorrow. :D
 
Very tempted to buy a 4080 this moment, have that come tomorrow and wait until I can geta 7900xtx and return the 4080 if I like it or keep the 4080 if i can't get my hands on a decent 7900xtx. Or am I just being impatient?
