Ah ok then @Gibbo thanks for the heads up. I take it we wont know the prices until you press the go live button at 2pm?
Very interesting.. Thanks Gibbo. I can't wait. The MBA cards are MSRP or very close to it, margins are very thin, single digits. But I have over 1000 now, focus on Sapphire there is 1000 units there alone, should last a few days.
Custom cards very little supply, prices not very nice, when supply improves, so will price.
sorry, maybe it's not related to this topic, Gibbo there are news about nvidia lowering the prices for rtx 4080 ?
I would suggest just go for XTX. Hope I can snag one tomorrow.I have seen the results, now I cannot decide 7900 XTX or the XT is enough?
How many % is xt / xtx can we know it?The MBA cards are MSRP or very close to it, margins are very thin, single digits. But I have over 1000 now, focus on Sapphire there is 1000 units there alone, should last a few days.

On the xtx temps looks much higher than on the xt, also even my psu is just 750w. I know its good brand but i am stille worrying on long term.I would suggest just go for XTX. Hope I can snag one tomorrow.
Indeed, though I plan on adjusting the fan curve and undervolt the card to get better performance plus temps. Got a half day in the afternoon so can't wait to buy the xtx for my holidays next weekOn the xtx temps looks much higher than on the xt, also even my psu is just 750w. For me its good news inlike thevref card looksSo it seems the only card instock tomorrow is the sapphire MBA, with 2yr warranty?
Somehow i think the same, and also in my opinion AMD need to learn the first impression is very important, if the people see they have issues on launch for example stock or driver that makes the people thinking the others side (Nvidia) is not too bad.May as well pay £150 more for the 4080 over the £1049 XTX. Far better RT and you'll get it back at re-sale anyway.
Do AMD have shares in nvidia? Cos they're making Jensen look good now... somehow!

Personally I wouldn't buy either, why reward these companies for mediocrity. Not to mention the lack of stability and crappy drivers. Why AMD can't just wait another few months, release these without game breaking or decision affecting bugs (monitor idle, multi-monitor, video playback crazy power consumption) is beyond me.
It's as if they're forced to release too early each generation, meaning the reviews end up painting the card worse than it will be when it's "fixed".
Who wants to buy a "broken" product, when you can pay £100 more for a 4080, with much better RT, no game breaking bugs and Nvidia driver quality/stability?
Im considering Option 3 myself at the moment, due to what I have read and seen about the power issues and noise levels of the 7900XTX. Was originally going to go for the 7900XT, but at £899 it isn't that great from the reviews. So originally my plan A was to get the 7900XTX on launch day.
After learning about the 7900XTX power issues, especially whilst idle, it's made me seriously reconsider going ahead with the purchase @ 1400hrs today.
Thankfully.. due to these forums I was able to purchase a plan B, 6900XT, during Black Friday.
I was going to gift that to my brother if things went well with today's launch so I could go with my original Plan A. 7900XTX and complete my build.
I know nobody has a crystal ball but what would you suggest now?
Option 1: Purchase the 7900XTX anyway and hope for AMD to fix the issues via software updates? (That's if they can fix the idle power issues.)
Option 2: Use the 6900XT and stop obsessing over GPU'S.
Option 3: Consider purchasing the 4080?
Option 4: **** it! Go all in and get the 4090?
Thank you!
I'm interested to see what you guys think?

The 4080 seems to be the all rounded card , albeit a little bit pricey.
