Just for interest what's a good temp for DDR5 please ? My kit at 6000 CL30 tweaked settings sits at about 53 in stress tests (max I've seen 58)

Only currently have 1 120mm fan in and one out on my 4000d case though atm so airflow not optimized

tREFI is at 55k

My F5-6000J3038F16GX2-TZ5NR - stick nearest Cpu max at 50 degrees, the second one 47 degrees. I presume this is because the second one has the front case fans blowing directly onto it and it blocks the cool air blowing onto the first one.

Wow I haven’t seen my 7200 cl34 running @6400 cl30 Dominator Titanium at higher than 43c under stress

New Afterburner beta is out with support for 9000 series, so we should be able to see all our 9800x3d stats in the OSD now (hopefully - not tried it yet as busy with other things)

from what i understand with ddr5 your supposed to try and keep it under 50c, and if your close to 50c you should try to use an active cooling fan, at least according to bulldozed and a bunch of others. never seen mine go about 31 boith sticks below a 120 t30 top case fan, overclocked and tightened timings. my set is the g skill royal expo kit 32gb

My PC freeze when the ram hit 50C during the bench and I use fan top on it.
2x16 Kinston 6400,1:1, 28-36-36-50 @ 1.48V.
The cooler which I use is VENGEANCE Airflow ,but with Noctua NF-A6x25 PWM fan,which is super quiet.

It's common for AMD to reduce prices and then include a good free game to entice people to buy. Once the 9950X3D launches, many will upgrade to it and there'll be more 9800x3d on the second hand market.

That will impact sales and likely trigger the free game offer and further discounts

Why would anyone with a 9800X3D upgrade lol it's same CPU but just more cores
