I see all the FE cards in-stock for weeks must be selling loads
Aye, i think people are finally fed up of the pish being taken.
If people pay the prices of the current gen then they sure will.Next gen will have a further premium placed on it with less technological advancement.
Shame.
Life’s too short pal to waste waiting for best price to performance. If people pay the prices of the current gen then they sure will.
You I would instabanIf you do it with your forum name they do respond pretty fast in my experience.

They don’t care mate. They have AI now. People holding back on purchases might be depriving themselves of decent deals vs next years pricing imo. Better to upgrade now than to wait on tomorrow. 10gb and 8gb card owners are sweating right now. Eg 3080 now worth barely £350. Better to recoup that value now than to wait another 18m and find you would only get £200 or lessNVDA’s revenues from the Gaming market platform plunged 46% year over year in the last reported quarter. The year-over-year decline was primarily due to a lower sell-in of Gaming products.
And they gonna improve that by increasing the price further?

the thing about ai is it's new and everyone see's a cash cow .. the problem is as it go's along your going to need more specialized equipment ..so it will divert from the gamer gpu ..and then they will need us again ..AI is going nowhere, massive growth sector and will no doubt be the boom of 23/24 and 2025, just does gamers no favours as for NVIDIA the corporates wanting the AI chips are an easier sale, think they start at $32,000 per chip.
Even OcUK is seeing massive growth in corporate sector, but we keep pushing really hard on the consumer GPUs to get prices down as for us gaming GPU sales are up year on year, though marginally but corporate sales are more than double, good job with size of new building.
Tbh wouldn’t be happy with a card with less than 16gb vram. All but the 3090 from last gen is out. AMD 6000 series have no AI cores so FSR3.0 might not run as well etc. 7900xt and XTX have a lot of performance that hasn’t been unlocked yet by AMD. SO FINE WINE ETC
But then you don’t enjoy life so it is a fine balance.

I might buy a decent electric piano instead of a GPU, learn to play that instead.
I can't be arsed with this anymore, these prices....
You can take up other (expensive) hobbies now instead of gaming.
Shame.
Everyone thinks things and prices will get better- I suspect prices will go up a little more next gen.So... What you're saying is wait until the performance has matured and the cards have dropped to £400? Understood
You realise there is more to life than GPUs?
See, this guy gets it.
Bought myself a nice synth and took the other half away for a dirty weekend away from the kids recently for the price of a 7900xtx, but apparently I'm not "enjoying life"
This is a "good deal" (given the current market), so well done to Gibbo, but let's not pretend it's good value given the price/performance offered
I think it (7900xt) is tremendous value for £700. It’s 3090ti level with Vram to boot. Imagining getting a 3090ti/3090 for half price a year later. I’m not sure the XTX is that value as it’s only 10-15% faster then the Xt but for £300 more.So... What you're saying is wait until the performance has matured and the cards have dropped to £400? The world has moved on and prices from the past are no longer. It's not half a year later though, the 3090 has been out for almost 3 years now.
That's quite a long time in hardware cycles, so naturally you'd expect a mid-high tier card to be approaching the performance level of a 3 year old halo card. The problem is, that even at the deal price, the 7900xt is a couple of hundred £ too expensive for a mid-high tier card, because it's being pitched as the high tier card, when performance wise it's around what should be the 7800xt level, and priced as such
I've only get a few other expensive hobbies. Guitar and bikes. That why since the gpu prices when silly upgrading gpu become least priority.
You must have a sad and lonely life. Go outside. Ride a bike, go for a walk. It's summer time. Too hot and sweaty to sat inside gaming your life away.
