AMD Zen 2 (Ryzen 3000) - *** NO COMPETITOR HINTING ***

Yes it has 197 Single Core score

Just to clarify - the the 3600 was not stock in this testing, it was all core 4.2ghz

The 3600 was all core 4.2ghz for this cinebench testing

It was stock, they stated in the the article x470 mono didn't allow for overclocking of the 3000 series. 4.2Ghz is the single core boost. CPUZ reports the highest single core frequency.

Article states, but for now the overclock does not work on the chosen motherboard.
You can see the Cinebench R15 scores are the same in the article at stock at over 1500 points, would be interesting to see all cores at 4.2Ghz. serious power there for £200.

Thought about that, why is the back blurred out? Could've just blurred out that single string of info.

Single sting? Nope, you need to blur out the QR code too, and the batch number etc. Maybe there was an identifying mark on the back, maybe they just wanted to keep it consistent, but a blurry photo does not make a fake review.

So, why is it 'so fake'?

I’ve bought 16GB of 3200mhz Kingston Hyper X predator RGB. Samsung B-Die and easily upgrades to 3600mhz, which is the sweet spot apparently.

yeah av been looking at the 8 pack 3200 and 3600 and just dunno what way to go. will obviously need to make my mind up shortly.

...Sharing the 12 cores TDP while having 8... seems to say the same (more thermal envelope for PBO/XFR2 to work in)...

The way I interpret it, I think you'll likely see the same clock speeds around 8 core utilisation as TDP is reached. Then as the 12c utilises the extra 4, all core speed will drop lower still to stay within the envelope.

some titles are a wash, nice to see there's still some scaling with CS:GO, suggests good SC performance, GTA V I think around 175ish FPS is where the engine falls to bits and becomes a stuttery mess

Would the first step, trying to legitimise an early review, be to post blurred out pictures of the only thing that would - the CPU itself?

Everything that's there could've been done by anyone with a free afternoon and MS Paint.

As stated before the blurring is done so AMD does not know who supplied the CPU for the leak.

I'm pretty sure this site has a history of leaking performance reviews early. I think it was Zen 1 I remember them for doing.

To think this 3600 is AMDs slowest Ryzen 3000 SKU in the current product stack, up there with intels top mainstream CPUs, madness. Excellent work AMD, hats off to you.
