AMD Zen 2 (Ryzen 3000) - *** NO COMPETITOR HINTING ***

So when can we expect to see these in the wild? Are they previewing at any of the early 2019 tech shows?

If Ryzen 1 and 2 are anything to go by, I'd say Ryzen 3000 will be available about April. Ryzen 1st was announced in December 2016, unveiled February and retailed in March, Ryzen 2nd was available in April. So if Ryzen 3rd is announced (and possibly demoed) at CES, I think April this year is realistic.

Looks like AdoreTV (Jim) could be bang on the money

Or, more specifically, if you'd actually been following the tech press surrounding Zen for the past few years you'd be fully aware of what Intel said, the context in which is was said and how the "glue" insult has become a gag. But I guess you missed that by cherry-picking random pieces of nonsense to continue pushing your non-argument.

Don't worry though, keep those posts coming; only 982 to go before you can get to the member's market! That is why you're spamming tripe, isn't it? Isn't it??

No there's no OR about it, I'm fully aware that Intel leveled the 'Glue' comment at AMD, something that made them look very foolish at the time as anyone with half a brain could see the industry heading down the chiplet route, the context is that based on what's been said so far there was no way to know if the glue is a technical term comment was made in jest or not.

So what is this non-argument you say I'm pushing? I've already said that IN MY PERSONAL OPINION AdoredTV does not make great analysis', like I've said your welcome to have your own opinion.

I've also said, and provided proof, that chiplets are nothing new and that AMD have been doing it for over eight years, I mean even the chief designer of ZEN said it's been specifically designed for chiplets when he gave a talk four years ago, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to work it out.
Keller doesn’t hint at the most important component until near the end of the 15 minute session when he mentions a next generation “fabric” that would be found in every CPU from mobile devices up to servers and that would allow AMD to scale performance at an enviable rate. That fabric would be known, by 2017, as Infinity Fabric.

He explains that the fabric would allow AMD to employ a “chiplet” approach to design. Instead of building one processor on a single die AMD could package a series of processors together—connecting them via the Infinity Fabric system bus.
And No, i didn't even know there was a market place.

But hey you can keep attacking the person instead of the argument if it makes you feel better.

This zen 2 info is making me want to upgrade my 9-year-old setup lol. Fingers crossed there new GPU are just as impressive also

Oh right, silly me.

3700X is I think where my dolla will be going most likely so looking forward to seeing confirmation on that one.

Sorry, that would have made no sense if you hadn't kept an eye on the thread.

You are of course right, very interesting to see. Especially combined with the second leak now.
