Tom's Hardware | Posted: 23 February 2023 said:AMD announced today that the company would begin offering a Ryzen 7000 Series bundle that includes discounts on AM5 motherboards and DDR5 kits that could total up to $125. You also get a free game with your purchase. The new bundle, which includes several of the chips on our list of best CPUs for gaming, helps to address some of the high memory and motherboard costs associated with building a Ryzen 7000 system, if even temporarily. It will also help spur CPU sales during the lowest period of PC sales in 30 years.
The program runs from February 27 to April 1, 2023. AMD's announcement says that purchasing a Ryzen 7000 processor during this time unlocks additional discounts for X670 and B650 motherboards, along with discounts "available for 2x8GB and 2x16GB DDR5 memory kits from leading makers including Corsair, ADATA, GeIL, and Kingston Technology."
i find it odd that the "VGA" Fault light is not coming on now
but the problem has not gone away too
New chipset driver is on AMD's site. I just installed it without issues, yet.

Seems like a simulated 7800X3D (e.g CCD1 Disabled) is keeping up with the 13900K in games:
It looks like it will be ahead in average FPS, but similar in 1% lows. There are some games which benefit from >8 cores, but the simulated 7800X3D tends to beat the 'vanilla' 7950X in games.
And the 7950x3d performance comes with caveats. To achieve these numbers you must:
* Update mobo BIOS to newest version
* Install latest AM5 chipset driver
* Install Xbox Game Bar app from Windows store; if it's already installed, update it
* Enable game mode in Windows 11
* Make sure Xbox game bar is running while your are gaming
Failure to do the above steps can result in your 7950x3d running as much as 40% slower than reviews show
Run balanced power mode instead of high performance.
If you don’t do this, windows can’t park the cores.
never heard of this
i always switch mine to performance mode
I just installed over the old one, I never uninstall chipset drivers or any drivers.Hmm
Reset bios to default
So the iGPU was back to enabled
And it booted to windows
Wtf..
