Turbo speed?
its (shirley) too quick for a retail turbo speed on a 8 core chip, it could just be a motherboard makers binned turbo speed for a Ryzen chip they have been using to stress test the boards ...

Turbo speed?
One the pics on Anandtech has a Ryzen chip and 4300 written on top of the box
Hope that's not the RRP
According to Hexus, OCUK are one of the PC builders showing off their Ryzen PCs at CES: http://hexus.net/tech/news/mainboard/101128-amd-showcases-ryzen-pcs-am4-motherboards/

Am I missing something. Got back from work and there's barely any news from the event? Did it happen?
Thanks. There was no event. They just released news on VEGA architecture. That is all. I know of no Ryzen event, but who knows. All we've seen is motherboards. I have a feeling CES is going to be a white wash, nothing more than dribbles and rumour.

Good to know, though is it that it favours AMD or the fact AMD has a better architecture for modern API's ?
Presumably he means the 8c/16t version? If so that's pretty sweet. Shame we still don't know anything about how the 4 or 6 core versions will clock. You'd expect slightly higher but it won't be that much different.Theres an F4 Ryzen out there at 3.6 base/4ghz boost

As the Vulkan API was based off a proprietary AMD API those two aren't really mutually exclusive.
