Does AMD have a any sort of speedstep technology? Never mind have found info I wanted.

Those leaks were Iranian and its believed to be an engineering Sample, thus the user would not have access to the correct kit AMD issued, with the 3000mhz ram and the BIOS updates etc... i would take all of them with a large pinch of Salt.

On Overclock.net they said the chap who reviewed was legit,so unless he is trolling everybody Ryzen is looking very solid indeed.

when your only running 2Ghz vs 3Ghz it can make a significant difference in some games, significant here being about 10%

Well it looked like 2133 memory speed, 3.6 gig clock speed and a 980 gtx so although ok for comparison between chips I'd be expecting some better numbers to be coming tomorrow.

I will say, looking at his results, if you look at 1080p res, the difference is negligible between the chips. Which is both good and bad.

Motherboard and Chip were both Engineering samples... again i would discount this review as extremely flawed.

What do you use the pc for ?

If what there saying regarding AM4 socket lasting 4 years with future cpu's that to me is a win win never mind the extra cores soldered tim cheaper price ect ect whats not to love...Intel shame on you with a new socket popping up every 24 hours
