Found a retailer with Crosshair stock and shipping today, ordered. Hoping all goes smoothly and I'll be up and running at the weekend.

Matt, some nice updates here http://www.overclock.net/t/1624603/rog-crosshair-vi-overclocking-thread and an Asus staff member working out the kinks and OCs. Keep an eye on it.

Tested mine on the windows balanced power plan last night drops down to 1.5ghz and vcore drops too

Thanks, have you kept all the power saving states enabled in Bios? On my 8350 if I touch Vcore it keeps it fixed at that Vcore with no drop on idel, was wondering if Ryzen was the same

My prime x370 pro has bricked. It's not a crosshair problem. Looks like an Asus problem

Any chance you can revive it with taking out CMOS battery etc ?

My prime x370 pro has bricked. It's not a crosshair problem. Looks like an Asus problem

All power saving is still enabled in the bios. Voltage adjustment on my Gigabyte as it was on my Z68 and is offset voltage rather than fixed vcore

yeah a load of people have dead crosshair as well will be changing to asrock as soon as they are sorted out

A lovely surprise was waiting for me when I woke up this morning. My CH6 has bricked. Board lights up but won't even start. I've tried the typical clear cmos, leaving the battery out, power draining and finally another bios flashback with the latest beta bios. I'm honestly at the end of my tether with this board and will just wait for a gigabyte K7. I'm very close to sending it back to OcUK.

Ryzen supports ECC memory - if the Motherboard has a BIOS option to enable it. It is recommended to confirm with the manufacturer that the Motherboard fully supports ECC.

Yes It does support ECC but most boards have a * which then states this..... but only works as normal ram with no ECC function so it will just be like using standard DDR 4 NON ECC ram ..

Nope, it doesn't. It has a flashback function that won't 100% fix bios issues.

Then again, even my x99 Deluxe doesn't have it; I always thought they only reserved that for WS/ROG/Crosshair ones.

Considering the price, the boards really don't seem worth it then.

You need version B for a silver arrow. The version a is for the macho

I'm hoping that OcUK will just do me a solid and give me a refund rather than a replacement. It's been 4 days since I've had the board and would hate to be THAT guy who has to start throwing around DSR and consumer rights act crap.

I'll tell ya this much gentlemen. Asus have lost my trust for a very long time if these reports of other ryzen based Asus boards are dying too.
