You would've thought AMD would work with Microsoft beforehand to get this sorted

Saw this post on Reddit which may seem to bring up a good point about affected gaming performance as well:

Because the CPU is made from 2 CCX, it could be functioning more like a dual 4 core CPU, and Infinity Fabric is not fast enough to exchange data between the two CCX, which can affect gaming workloads due to the threads being dependant on each other. Hopefully Microsoft will sort the scheduler out to better know which cores in which CCX to use.
Which then makes me wonder... will the 4c/8t Ryzen offer better performance in lightly threaded CPU dependant games?
