Great video, although does make me think about a 1800X instead of 1700, I am guessing the 1700 will match the 1800X when clocked?
Pretty much, silicon lottery state that 70% of 1700's can do 3.9 @ 1.408V.
I thought it comes with an a choice window not glass. You can buy the tempered glass add on which includes the main window and the 2 smaller ones.
Also, anyone getting the K5 or K7; it would appear you can claim a €20 steam voucher:

(Says z270 but apparently works for x370 boards too).

Definitely K5's, friend has one. But don't think K7's are around yet.

I have a Gigabyte K7 pre-ordered here and another shop, cancelling whichever one ships 2nd.

Doesn't seem to be any 2c variants. Maybe in the future... Would make sense to have a low end GPU with them though, that way it will compete against the Pentium/Celeron line. But Zen APUs is still a year away.

I hope to at least power it on at the weekend and have a look at the BIOS options, but most likely the build won't be fully complete for a few weeks as I'm waiting on some other parts and have some work to do on the case.

Yeah, though the board itself is mainly black so could just turn down the LEDs, probably just gonna go with the Crosshair when it's back in stock
Quick update, before I go to bed.....
The P5 case :
While novel idea and had it since September but never came around to build a custom loop for the 6700K, doesn't work with the Predator 360.
The Predator tubes are too short :/ So back to my old case. It will have to wait until I build custom loop later this year.
System:
Two and half hours of fiddling about moving back to the original case, block cleaning etc, wasn't booting.
nothing at all. I was getting an error 8 (not 08). And that it's. Spend half hour trying to recheck all the connections, removed everything, tried the RAM on various slots. Nothing.
Power was there but nothing else. aka bricked board.
So quick read on the OCNET forum, decided to update the BIOS. Followed the process from my notebook (downloaded the file, unzipped, renamed it to C6H.CAP and put it in the USB, put the USB on the BIOS USB socket and click the button).
After some time of flashing it finished. Turned on the system and HUZZAHHHH Is alive.
And here I am. posting this and going to have fresh windows installed tomorrow etc.
So anyone who buys an Asus C6H, if system doesn't boot, update the bios fist.
Issues -_-
My old case doesn't like IO shield at all. If I put it on, I have to press the motherboard into place with big force and still doesn't align with the screws.
It barely manages to fit with the motherboard without the IO shield! Idk why, never had issues with the X79 or the Z170 Formula. But is temporary.

Closing at work today everyone was drooling over the Asus Hero board looks. Even myself. Is one of the most beautiful boards ever used. The images doesn't do justice to it.
Ok I am off. Tomorrow after work, fresh windows installation and going to start tweaking the system
