I did check for support on the main page and it does take a 2700x, so I am fairly confident. I thought the 2xxx series were missing some features on older boards though?

Well I always thought XFR2 and Precision Boost 2 were motherboard features, but it's on the CPU so still works.

Apparently this Reddit guy dropped a 2700X into an Asus Prime B350M and still got his XFR2 and PB2

That's good news :)

Appreciate the info btw. Until recently I was doing almost two full-time jobs for almost 2 years, so haven't had a lot of time to keep myself aware of things. Just got a MUCH better paid single F/T position, so can keep tabs better :D

EDIT: Need to go and educate myself on Precision Boost vs Precision Boost 2 as apparently "PB2 Overdrive" doesn't work. (as an aside, I wonder if there will be PB3)

2700X arrives tomorrow, have decided on board and ram (finally!) got it at a good price so more than chuffed. 3570 did me well, but especially in newer games I can feel the sluggishness.

It's the 8 Pack Team Group RAM, am I correct in saying I need to enable DOCP or something in the BIOS? I've never used XMP before on intel I just put the ram in and left it at 1600mhz before.

2557 SB for Ryzen Zen 2 7nm 8C/16T
2044 SB for i9 9900K 8C/16T
1964 SB for Ryzen Zen+ 12nm 8C/16T @4.4GHz

So, ~30.2% performance uplift.

2057 on the 3600x is what im thinking, and one of the leaks I saw said the boosted clock was 4.8ghz.

So if it did manage to beat the i9 9900k with a lower frequency then seriously wow..

Should be a chiplet + Navi. But they didn't say anything about Navi. Does it exist at all?

They didn't reveal their plans with a roadmap.

There have been plenty of GPU roadmaps for years and nothing has ever been suggested or leaked that the roadmaps have changed. And based on those roadmaps, Navi isn't due until September this year so why talk about something that is barely out of testing now? If we don't hear anything about Navi at Computex THEN we need to be concerned.

Seriously, if you do have ADHD then I suggest you consult your doctor and get a check-up because your posts as of late have been woeful and irrational.
