An Elder Scrolls: Oblivion thead

in the video he moves the chains and the shadows move , hardly fixed objects?

No, but it's in a small cell with not much else to render. If they were an option they'd have to work without performance options anywhere, whether that's outdoor, in a room with hundreds of objects etc.

Seeing them work in a room with 2 or 3 objects is hardly indicitive of a "worse-case" scenario.

Ok im stuck again its a spoiler so highlight to read:

Im now at the part where i have to find a daedric relic so i can piece together stuff to go to this "paradie", ive just done a treck to this Azura shrine.

Theres 3 blokes there, none of them do anything and im stuck and dont know what to do next any help would be great

Cheers.

You'll have to buy the spells from one of the mages guilds (i suggest bravil since they specialise in illusion) or create one yourself (if you've got access to the arcane university).

There's also another 3 bits of equipment for alchemy, but they are not essential. A calcinator increases the poison effect of a substance, a retort increases the positive effect and an alembic decreases the negative effect of ingredients.

Thanks. I did check out Bravil but no one would teach me it. A bloke from the Darkbrother hood did though.

Can some of you guys help me please? I'm doing a quest for the Dark brother hood and it seems bugged.

SPOILER!

I'm doing the quest for the Brotherhood where I need to kill that bloke and make it look like an accident. Well I'm in his house at the moment right by the fastenings you loosen. It's 9pm so within the time bracket but when I loosen that head and it kills him, it says I haven't furfilled was asked and I forefit my bonus  The only thing that isn't right is that his slave isn't in his home. Maybe I killed him earlier on in the game thus forefit my bonus (Quest objectives state I cannot kill the slave)?

What do you guys think I'm doing wrong? Also, does anyone know what the bonus is? I've gotten some really nice stealthy items from them so far so don't want to miss out. Thanks

anyone know if you can be a werewolf???
don't believe anybody answered your question mate, as far as i know its impossible to become a werewolf in Oblivion... you could in Bloodmoon (expansion for Morrowind)... the only thing you can turn into (as i'm sure everyone and their grand parents knows about now) is a vampire.

*snip* Dark Brotherhood quest questions *snip*

you get something called a Sufferthorn, i think its a dagger weapon with some sort of magical power, can't remember to be honest... most of the weapons you get from the Dark Brotherhood aren't TOO great once you start playing the game a bit more, a lot of the items you get are worth keeping though (enchanted jewlery)

Acolyte, you need to make an offering to the shrine. I'm sure one of the people nearby tells you what. If not I think maybe you can active (space bar) the shrine itself?[

Just completed the main quest!! Long live the empire!
OMFG  spoilers~~~!

anyway...
i really need to start the main quest, i'm Arena Grand Champion, Listener in the Dark Brotherhood, about 3 quests away from the end of the Thieves Guild (or so i hear?)... need to do more work on the Fighters and Mage's Guild though.

out of curiostiy, does anybody know that by doing quests for the Thieves Guild, does it make everybody hate you (or just raise your infamy)???
a lot of people i talk to seem to be around 20-30 disposition when we start talking, unless i already know them or they're a member of a guild.
:-/

my personality skills are high, even when wearing clothes or enchanted jewlery they seem to be low. :(

I think if your infamy is greater than your fame you start to get negative affects.

I'm sure I read somewhere if you have higher infamy than fame, you cannot join the fighters guild, and you cannot heal at churches.

my infamy is about 1 less than my fame (41 and 40... something like that anyway)...

better start doing more "good" quests, would fighters/mages guild quests bump up my fame?

its still nice walking around town and getting the odd person go "Look at the muscles on you!" and "WOW! You're the Arena Grand Champion! It's an honour to be in your presence!"...

it's just annoying i've now started getting Imperial Guards saying "I didn't sign up to be talking with SCUM like you!" :(

don't think it helps i've been stealing so much either i suppose... i've got over 20,000 gold at the moment and own about 3 or 4 houses, i've had 3 horses (not included the one you get from the Dark Brotherhood quests), got a stupid amount of the early games "uber" weapons that i've bought which are now really only half decent against ghosts/undead enemies :-/

edit:
on a side note, decided to revert to an earlier game and not get the Umbra sword (waiting until i'm level 20 and actually do the quest properly rather than stumbling across it... i'm level 16 now :))

I have over 130k gold and have only ever stolen about 1.5k of stuff, so don't worry about the money drying up if you start only doing good quests!!

And yes, certainly for the mages guild, your fame will increase.

My fame is 93 and my infamy about 20. I still get the "look at the muscles on you" etc comments.

Nobody wants to talk to me, and when i click on the shrine it says "nothing happens" :(

I have 3 varla stones and 39 welkyend stones I need to shift.

I has a sucessful raid there was loads of them.

where is the best place to get a good price?

they are meant to be worth around 1000 base value in gold each for the varla stones and 50 each for the welkyend one's.

but none of the shopkeepers in the market district seem to have that kind of gold.

Any suggestions?

Keep the Varla stones, you use them to charge up your own magical items!
