Where can I store stuff I find or where can I buy a house and how much is it roughly?

I got my first house over the weekend - opted for the one in Anvil at 5000. There's a couple of quests to get the house, but when done it's fully furnished, nice and roomy.

Other houses range from the cheapest in Waterfront (2000) to Skingrad at 25,000. Then you have to pay to furnish them too.

You can't safely store items anywhere else for a period of time.

Imperial City if you go to a place in the Market Region can get a house for about £2000, also about £600 for storage. Bed comes free! :D

All other houses are closer to £10000 so it's a solid investment. :)

I started off with the house in Bruma, 7000 for the house, then I slowly bought the upgrades. Plenty of storage, more than I would ever need, quite big as well. For all the upgrades it probably costs another 8-10k. That house lasted me a long time, I bought the Anvil one as well, only to do the quests for a bit of fun. Then randomly I decided to buy the Skingrad house, which costs 25000 for the house alone, and probably around 35000 for the upgrades. You also have the option to pay 150g for a maid, who lives in the basement and can make you food/drink, and there is even a little quest in the house. Spoiler: starts with a note found above the stairs in the master bedroom.

Ahh garp maybe you could help me then, where can i buy/steal 5 grand soul gems they need to be empty, thought i best do it casue now the screnn is very bright when im outside. Buggering sneak vampire got me while i was sleeping so had no chance of getting to a chapel.

Try in mages guilds, there is usually someone there selling the crystals.. of course you need to be a high enough level for them to be prolific enough. When I was hunting for them I had to go to virtually every single guild hall to get them. Now I'm lvl 30, I get them every time I turn around.

Sigil stones. Great for enchanting items, if you get a decent sigil stone. Of course, the higher the level you are, the better the sigil stone, and thus the enchanted item, you get.

ahh right.. I wondered what these sigil stones are for. Been carrying them around with me for ages.

Hmmm, do a few dungeon runs, carry whatever you can, and sell it all. The best shop to use for selling armour/weapons you get is the blacksmith in Anvil. He has a maximum amount of gold per sale of 1200g, which is the highest in the whole game. If there is more loot than you can carry, I tend to work out what has the best money:weight ratio. When you get to higher levels, loot that costs more than about 1600g, you won't be able to sell for more than 1200g, unless you are high enough in mercantile to invest 500g in the shop, in which case it will be 1700g. So in this case, even if an item that is worth 5000g, is only double the weight of something that is worth 1800g, the wise option is still to take the lightest item.

There is no real easy way to get money except playing for a while. I recommend becoming grand champion in the arena, because this yields 2.5-3.5kg a week as you become better.

I have a couple stored in my house, don't really know when to use them, not entirely sure how they work either :p

Just click on them :p

They bring up the enchanting dialog box, but instead of adding an enchantment to an item and an item, you just add an item you want to enchant with the sigil stone properties.

I have a bow I have enchanted already to do some shock damage on hit, and one sigil stone I have enchants with silence for 12 seconds on strike. Will I be able to use this on the bow I enchanted already? Or will it not work?

Why don't you try it... takes 2 seconds.
