I've already told my girlfriend I may be a bit scarce for a couple of weeks after the game comes out... she was surprisingly understanding too. :D

My other half is moaning about it already lol.... "I suppose I won't see you for weeks" etc etc!

New ram gets here once I have found some decent stuff on ebay

That would probably relate to an AMDs pentium equivalent rating, his 2.2ghz amd performs similar a 3.2 pentium.
Like the XP3200 rating

What's that bit of software you guys are using there?

Edit. Just noticed I mixed up the numbers on your screenies, nevermind
I have a feeling this is going to be one very slow week at work

I told mine I might not be about for a while and I got "if you'd rather be a geek and play your little computer games thats fine". At least shes ok with it:)

Tried to show her the videos so she could see what I was excited about, but she didn't seem very impressed... meh women...

Please tell me you had a full suit of armour on and a sword pointing skyward when you said that to her :D :D

That's my mental image anyway....as she closes the door behind her ;)

She won't go anywhere because I own the best "Sword of Romancing (+3)" in all the land.

Morrowind swallowed loads of my time, but I never finished the main quest. Maybe I'll have the will to this time! My computer meets the recommended spec with no problem, my graphics card is just a 6800LE, but I think it should run in 1280x1024 on high settings.. here's hoping :D

Yay my PC easily passed the recommended spec. I think I'll just go with the flow with this game. I think with morrowind i spent too much time looking at guides to see where all the quests were. With this one I'll just see what I come across. It spoils the immersion if you know what to expect.

Small spoiler here for morrowind so some might want to avoid:

Although when I played morrowind, I certainly did not expect to find a half naked man that was on a quest to get his clothes back from an evil witch :D I had that guy follow me for hours! He was a great help when I got into a few fights.

Very much doubt that I'm afraid, I've heard reports that people are looking at about 15fps with eye candy on full at 1280x1024 with a 6800 ultra, and about 35 with a 1900xt, can't remember where I saw it now though.

This is the reason for me driving to stoke on friday morning to buy a new graphics card, from my 6800 ultra to a 1900xt. :/
