OK guys I want to find out the specs of my PC so I can decide wether to get this game or not.

How do I find out my specs please?

Been reading this thread and from what people have posted this game seems to be the next big thing.

Thanks

you've posted over 900 times on a computer upgrade forum but you dont know your own specs, yer right!

A very quick way of telling your specs is to start up a program such as 3dmark03 or even ccleaner (both available for free download) It will tell you your processor, Gfx card and RAM. Ccleaner takes seconds to download from here.

http://www.filehippo.com/download_ccleaner/

Just click download latest version

Ccleaner is a program you should get anyway so kill two birds with one stone and do yourelf a favour:)

Didn't exspect a response like that

jesus guys keep you hair on.

There are other sections other than computers on this forum.

thanks to those who helped me out, much appriciated.

Ganna have a look and see if I can run this game.

I'd just like to say 'damn you all'! I'm not an RPG fan and have never played one through to the end. But thanks to the hype generated off of this thread I ordered a copy at lunch. Now I've wasted an entire afternoon reading about the Elder Scrolls and am looking forward to a restless night in anticipation of getting my hands on this unwieldy beast!

My wife is expecting to give birth at some stage this week and yet I feel I'm anticipating the arrival of my game more than that of the baby right now!!!

Good golly - I can't believe I just said that!

Got fed up with that irish company so went to the jersey company and got a plain old version of oblivion, should have just went there in the 1st place damm me for being a cheap skate.

Can you explain how to do it here - the Elderscrolls forum is down for maintenance as I type this. Thanks :)

Nevermind I found it. Didn't seem to make any difference for me - maybe helped a small amount....certainly not the big improvement other nvidia owners seem to get. Ah well - runs pretty well anyway.

Found out you can show your fps in the game by pressing ` and typing tdt.

Here are some shots giving an indication of the performance using a 7800gt ee, opteron 146 @2.8, 1gig Corsair llpt:

Haven't tried it in the countyside yet but am happy with the performance, never went below 30, apart from when it does this:

Just watched the documentary of Oblivion. All 44 minutes of it. Highly recommended.

Now I'm back from work, time to continue finding the first place of the quest....

Did any one who ordered from the £24.99 place get theres this morning?

No, no, no. I am so disappointed I can't even face turning on my games PC even though it’s got a new X1900XTX that I installed last night. I do not even want to look at another game. If its not here tomorrow morning in the post, then I will get another copy down on the high street.

Can you return unopened PC games purchased online?

Got myself in the Theifs guild, managed to rip off "The best defence" and "Smash and bash" shops :)

Ive got good light armour now. Time to go shopping for a shield.

Then I will have to work out how to reverse the vampire inside me :).
