Where did you get those lovely weapons? Me wants :D

Heh. Well........

Spoiler

I got most of them when i killed and looted all the dark brotherhood members (apart from lucien lachance) as he asked me to do it. A lot of weapons like magical weppons i find now are just on normal highwayman!! I wasl ike uhhhhh..... cool. But as for that glass dagger, i got it off a mage on a quest to get an arrow head for the gray fox.

*Spoiler About Dark Brotherhood Quest*

just got one question about that really, this isn't a big spoiler but if you haven't joined the dark brotherhood and don't know about their 5 rules don't read this

Isn't one of the 5 laws of the Brotherhood that you should never kill one of your brothers or sisters? "Less you encure the rath of Sithis!"... doesn't doing that quest break that law? I gather the reason you kill them is something to do with the traiter that your told about when you ask for rumours...

*spoiler*

This was an actual quest from lucien lachance the head of the dark brotherhood or the speaker, whatever. As there was a spy apparently in the dark brotherhood. so i had to murder them all. It was difficult but i did it. And it was well worth it. There some GOOD wepons to be pinched. its one of the DB's quests you gotta do it :p

yeah i guessed it would be a quest your given, it's just hugely contradictive from what you're told when you first join the Dark Brotherhood

Still, i looked forward to doing it as i could do with some decent weapons etc... :)
Although i've got some fairly decent stuff at the mo :o
*screenie to come*

Arena Grand Champion Raiment

my collection, i seriously need a better light armor helmet (sold the chainmail and fur ones i had when i joined the dark brotherhood... failed to realise you look like a tit in the Arena Grand Champion Battle Raiment with a hood on :o

most of the weapons have either been gifts from quests, or i've found them... only ones i've bought are the Akavari Warblade, Akavari Sunderblade and the Apotheosis. The Arena (fighting and betting) helped a great deal in getting these :)

I gota say this is by far the most enthralling game I've ever played, I did a few quests last night and went for a little ride on my horsey :p, couldn't believe it was 5am when I quit and I'd been playing for 7 (!) hours strait...No game has EVER made me do that before!

Just have a couple of question for now...

*spoilers*

Is there anywhere you can permanently store things to lessen your burden? I've been using the Trentius family mausoleum (unfriendly competition quest) which so far seems a safe place to store things I'm just a little apprehensive about leaving anything of value there just in case it's not there when I get back...

Second question...Is there a way of completing the Glarthir quest without Glarthir dying?

any tips for the arena? it seems the only way i can win is by climbing up the walls so they cant get to me, then flaring them to death :( they take about 1/5 of my hp per hit so its no use trying to melee them, and i do almost nothing to them. i dont understand, i have not done many combat quests yet though maybe i just need more training, lvl4 currently and doing the theives quests

This has probably been asked so I apologise if I'm re-treading old ground but am I likely to get good performance on high detail 1280x1024 (2xaa) on an 2.5GHz Opteron, 1.5GB DDR, 6800 Ultra system?

Thank you sir! :)

No problems! I know the name of the sword now. As Nikebee posted those pictures one of his sword has the first same name. Akavari Dai Katana it was :) that was the two handed katana and the normal katana is one handed.

Anyone know where you get the unicorn?

I actually found the unicorn last night during a wonder, it was guarded by Minotaurs and wasn't happy to see me! I'll have to have a look quick look on the map and see if it is still there...

Thanks guys. Cant get to the official forums though, as the place i work for invest thousands in a fool proof web blocker. Probably a good idea actually! ;)

Damn I can't remember where exactly I found it, don't have the time right now to search around but I'm sure I can find where it was later...I don't think knowing its location will be of much use to you though because when I found it, it just attacked me. It looks like the only way to get it is to do a quest.

use your summon skeleton magic, it will effectively make it 2 on 1 for a short period of time... for early levels i found it essential to go in there with a fair wad of health potions... when your magic has increased a bit you'll be able to use better restore health magic.

when fighting people with swords, i find it best to stay back and use fire magic. that way they can't get close to you but you can still damage them (add that to the fact you've also got a skele running around attacking them for 30 seconds or so.)

if your facing somebody with a bow, break out your biggest and best sword/axe and just swing for the hills... hit often and quick enough and you wont give them a chance to even fire the bow...

but the best thing i can suggest early on is make sure you have health potions.

without buying a house or using a lesser burden spell theres not much you can do i'm affraid. when your just starting out the game just try and make sure you carry the essentials (i.e. the armor you need, weapons you need, potions you need etc...) otherwise find a place you can store them like you've done, or just sell them and get some cash.

best thing i can suggest is do more quests, visit more towns... you'll find that either
a) buying a house can open up a quest which will give better items
or
b) doing a quest can give you a house (just got given one for doing a Dark Brotherhood quest :))

can't remember the answer to your second question....
what do you have to do in the quest? i'm rubbish with names :o
