Just had a funny moment in game, there's a shrine quest where you have to let a guy kill you and then respawn, so I left my PC with my character getting beaten, came back just in time to watch my assailant die. Forgot I had two rings on for 22% reflect :o.
ha oops :p

I think if you have found one you can go to any alchemy shop and buy them from there eg found a daedra? heart now able to but them in the alch shops.

EDIT: Bit annoyed with the game at the moment, just crashed 3 times with me tonight was building up the minor magic stats to apprentcie lvl taking me about 30 mins to do each but forget to save so im going to have to do them all again

Dammit

I'm just looking for a safe place to stash things I don't want to carry! I used to have an Alladins cave in Morrowind! (Not a dig at Oblivion btw..loving it :))

Im not too sure abouty this as ive not done it yet and may be a spolier so ill change text

Maybe you should buy a house and put your stuff in there, dont know if they come with chests or you can buy them but in theroy that should be possible.

I have just been hitting guards and running into the mage academy and watching the guards get proper bounced by my mage buddies :p

buy a house?

theres a house to buy in each city, some come to you in quests, others give you quests when you buy them.

check out the one in Imperial City... you've got to go talk to the women who deals with complaints in the market district (i can't remember her name, or the name of the shop sorry :o)

That's right; it's the Imperial Customs shop or similar in the Market district. Costs £2,000 plus any furnishings you might want to buy from the Three Brothers.

That's fine, I actually own Hackdirt as far as I'm concerned, I just need to know if things stay put in caves, chests or just on the floor?

For a while, but they'll disappear eventually. I wouldn't use it as a storage place, although you could use it as a temporary one while you move them to a more secure location. It's a bit risky though.

Ok left stuff in a cupboard in Hackdirt was gone when I returned, however stuff I left in a chest in W.Priory remained. I have my answer :)

I left something in a chest in the house of someone I killed while I went to sell some other stuff to my fence nearby and it had gone when I got back.
