An Elder Scrolls: Oblivion thead

I also have summon scamp, problem is my conjuration is only lvl 25 as its not a main one and im about 2/3 thru the quest which took about a hour to do, i do have a fire bow which i think does 7-8 damage and i think i have arrows that do 5 damage may just try them and hopefully be able to kill one before the rest mob me

Edit : but you should have porkchop, thats one deadly warthog, i used the little exploit in the arena and porkchop killed them all in a couple of mins

spotted a stupid bug in the arena... Grand Champions read only (or if you dont mind spoilers)

been Grand Champion for a month game time now maybe a little more... every time i do the 3 on 1 option and i get a bear and two menotaurs... one menotaur ALWAYS gets stuck in the yellow teams entrance way! so it makes the fight much easier.

Just had to post a quick tale from my Oblivion world for all those who think that this game is too hard!

Upon attempting my second gate I realised that due to my armour being enchanted I couldn't repair it (not yet a journeyman). It's kind of an all in one leather getup (Those who have it will know) anyway It was getting knackered so I lifted a leather curiass from a handy corpse and did the whole level in my underpants :D

Where is the second gate? I've closed the first gate and retrieved a ring from some dead guy. What now? I don't have any quest follow up

Hey guys, anyone know who i need to speak to to buy a house in imperial city?

In the market district speak to the woman in the chamber of commerce (it's not called that, but something similar... think it's next to the Feed Bag).

The only one availabel is in the waterfront though, not particularly nice.

for the people who are saying that their blade skill is too low because they leveled up using sneak too much, have you tried talking to trainers in blade skill and level up that way..?

not sure, i left a load of junk in the fighters guild when i first visisted it, 20 hours later its all still there, but ive left items on the world ground before and ive never seen them again

I've just come from outside of Bruma where, for the second time (one in each of the two games I started), I have witnessed two Imperial foresters hacking each other to pieces. It's obviously not random that these two soldiers fight each other, unless it was one hell of a coincidence. So does anyone know what the argument was about?

If I dropped my equipment somewhere on the ground... how long would it stay there for?

Roughly three days, however if you've been to Weynon Priory you can stick stuff in a chest there..not lost anything in there yet :)

Be careful! I stored loads of stuff in what I thought was a safe place for ages, then after a couple of very long quests I went back to get something and it was all gone! Does stuff stored in a house you own stay forever? Also need a little help with vampirism...

*Spoilers*

I've contracted vampirism and have no idea how to cure myself, I know that if you pray at a church alter within 3 days it apparently cures you but when I try it just says "repent your crimes, wicked one" I'm guessing it's because of all the people I've killed as I’' now listener of the black hand or because of all the stuff I've nicked as I'm also the grey fox lol? And on that subject, what am I supposed to do as the grey fox? Is there a way to make money out of it because I've searched all over for my fence and I can't find him?!

Just finished the Thieves guild quests, found out that the best way of killing those damm dread zombies was by using my bow of flame and dwarven arrows so damage was 7+15+5 each hit took about 5-8 hits to kill them (thats with 4 x3 crit hits, stupid zombie never spotted me)

Yeah, had that twice now :p

But if there wasn't that bug, it would be a lot harder.

Another spoiler and bug:
If you conjure any thing and then go invisible, they don't attack the conjured being. Good for slowly draining down those health reserves that the bear has, after a sneak attack. (i'm such a wimp).

After you've closed the Kvatch gate, Oblivion gates start popping up all over Cyrodiil in random places in the countryside. Just ride around a bit and you'll find some soon enough (you'll know when you're near one because the sky goes all red).

They're not actually part of the main quest though. Once you've finished Kvatch, talk to Martin at the camp, then take him back up to Jauffre.

Find a bed (in a guild you are a member of, in a house you have bought), or a sleeping mat thing in a church and activate it with your use key (space by default). You only need sleep one hour.
