Can anyone please tell me how I learn invisability and the other invisible type spell? Also how do I create alchemy pots? I know I need a pot and a grinder but where can I find them?

Hehe. I did see "Mortar and pestle" on the loading screen but I forgot

Btw I believe I get invisability at skill level 50 in Illusion. Will the spell automatically appear in my spell book or will I need to go pay someone and learn it?

anyone got an issue with the game randomly crashing? not got HDR/bloom etc on so I don't know whats causing it!

specks are 3200, 1gig ram, NF7-s V2 mobo, 6600GT graphics, so I'm up to the min specks etc.

just don't know whats wrong.

Gah, I'm completely stuck on one of the thieves guild quests and need some help

<----- SPOILERS (HIGHLIGHT TO VIEW) ----->

I'm on a thieves guild quest whereby I must steal the 'Arrow of Extrication' from a wizard in Castle Bravil. I've located the wizards room and entered a secret cave. I've swept through the cave and am now at a door where you need a key. I've searched high and low throughout the cave and in the wizards room but I cannot find this key. Anyone know where it is?

i did hear on another forum that the hp printer monitor thing can cause problems, may not apply to you though. try closing as many background things as poss inc. antivirus/spyware checkers etc.

You'll have to buy the spells from one of the mages guilds (i suggest bravil since they specialise in illusion) or create one yourself (if you've got access to the arcane university).

There's also another 3 bits of equipment for alchemy, but they are not essential. A calcinator increases the poison effect of a substance, a retort increases the positive effect and an alembic decreases the negative effect of ingredients.

Surely this is not right. I've just joined the fighter's guild, and so now I can take items from the building without being accused of being a thief. So I emptied the building of all of its weapons and sold them all to the smity in the basement. I mean, I sold the weapons that the smith probably made herself back to her for quite a good rate. I'm not dooming myself for a future issue am it?

Can you make your own map markers in the game? Found a few areas of interest I need to mark (rare herbs etc).

i did a bit of this, you can do the same with the mages guild and sell the apparatus like retort, mortar and pestle etc. to make a bit of quick cash. as you have seen you won't get 100% of the value of stuff and a load of swords worth 70g ain't all that much once you've gone up a few levels and get shields worth 6k and above

no printer software,
Run spybot/adaware everythings clear and they are both closed down too while playing.

Shift-click a location on the map to place a marker there. You can only have one marker unfortunately.

Dont go thru that door migsy

go back to the water, make sure you have water breathing as its a long swim under the water + theres a boss slaughterfish......or is that wrong im sure there is a way thru the water

I've been down there, killed the boss. There is an exit through there but it takes you out to the middle of the sea :confused:

Right then have you looked at the f4 map that shows the dungeon map as im 90% sure you have to go thru the water, maybe just the shallows or try using the underwater mod and look for an exit about halfway down the hole
