An Elder Scrolls: Oblivion thead

Ive got to the bit when i have those 4 books, the rare 3rd and 4th volume e.t.c

Went back to the book boffin at the school who told me to read them. Ive read them now wtf do i do?

Either figure out the clues yourself, or wait for about a day and go back and the mage will tell you what to do.

Keep reading the books and eventually common sense should ILLUMINATE the answer for you. ;)

Heheh I thought I'd hit the jackpot about 4 hours into my new charcter when I found an Elven Sword and a Glass sword locked behind very hard locks in the fighter's guildhouse and expended all of my lockpicks to find ...



... they are both damn replicas! D'oh!

I'm going throught the Fighters Guild quests and Azzan in the Anvil branch has gone walkies. I've talked with him before and this is about my 6th or 7th task.
I've waited a few days to see if he turned up but no joy. I've asked at ALL the other fighters guilds but it's only him that can give me the next quest, and no one at the guild has the option to ask about him.
I hope that by completing the main quest Ive not buggered this and potentially others up.

Edit: Sorted.
Found him stuck behind a door in a room with no lights trying to walk through through the wall!

Has anyone seen the LOD texture mod on the official forums. The difference is amazing with no FPS hit. Highly recommended!
 
Paying off Bounty?

Been going through the Brotherhood quests and have got to the one where I have to stab someone with a special dagger (staged), but I can't get into his house as I only have 4 picks and its a very hard lock! :(

So I've decided to join the fighters guild (until I can get some picks and some spells to make the lock easier!) but I've got a bounty of 40 :( Where can I pay this off without losing everything? (Yes its mostly stolen).

I got a horse from the Dark Brotherhood guild quest but it seems to have disappeared, usually it fast travels with me. Anyone know if I can get it back?
 
i just got my nice horsey from luciaen as well, was a bit worried got into a fight and he jumped in to help and boom hes lying on the ground, i thought bugger thats 2 horse ive now had that died, but that black beauty got back onto his feet and kicked the s*** out of the bugger that was attacking me :D ......also i wish id remeber to take of the final quest item you get for completing the thieves guild, but its sooooo handy with its feather of 200,,ended up going in to town with it on and another benny hill scene started had to leg it over the lake with 10 guards watching me from the shore

You should have just talked to the guy wating outside ( but if you get close to him it becomes a cut scene and you enter automaticaly..........oooooops wrong quest....right you need to join the thieves guild if you want to fence the stolen goods and get rid of your bounty also able to buy lockpicks.

That Khajit bloke in the Cheydinhal sanctuary sells lock picks I think. Just go and buy a load from him, then save at the door to the house, and if you run out of picks, re-load. :)

Easy; just go to the prison, drop all your loot in the courtyard, talk to a guard, pay the fine, get your loot back :D
 
Im lvl 19 now and still havent looked at the main quest yet, got a full set of ebony weapons dagger, mace, longsword, claymore and bow cant use the armour as im a light kind of guy :p
