I know a 21 year old girl who slept with a 39 year old bloke and that was weird and slightly disturbing to be honest. I won't comment on what I think of a 43 year old guy sleeping with a 16 year old girl...
 
Maybe I only think its weird cos at the time we were dating...

I don't think it is that weird, they are keeping it a secret anyway so it doesn't come with the usual situation you'd get opening dating a 16yo (funny looks and people passing judgement etc). At the end of the day biology is kind of lined up for men to bang younger women, as they often remain virile beyond the age at which women become infertile.

You could argue that it is shaping the 16yos view of sex at quite a sexually immature age but on the flipside a 16yo can be more sexually experienced than a 26yo so age isn't everything. In other words is it weirder to have a threesome with a 16yo **** or a 26yo virgin?

Welcome to modern society, its normal now. Usually the females with absent fathers.

Probably still the 16 year old, to be honest.

Each to their own, but can't say I find myself too keen to have sex with anyone under about 21. Probably 25 really. (I'm 34)

I'm 21, the age range which seems fine to me is about 18 - 26. Not sure how I feel about say, a 17 year old... Think I'd be hesitant at least.

I think it's less to do with the age and more emotional maturity and how they interact. Some people can easily pass as older through conversation and their actions without even needing misleading makeup or clothing
 
I have a 3yr 9month age gap with my wife, been married 10yrs+ now, with kids and she was 16 when I met her.

About 4 months before I met my future wife, I was on a night out with the lads and I bumped into a pretty fit, what I thought was mid 30yr old, spent the night together, turned out she was 43 just divorced. I have to admit it was pretty amazing, but never again!

Ok if we are going down that path...

I was 15 (two weeks before my 16th birthday) she was 35.

She set the bar so damn high, I completely lost track of it! :eek: :(
 
Of course, its unlikely I'll ever get in a situation where I could find out my reaction. :( :p
