What's the best way to sell bundle codes? They only activate on specific AMD hardware, right? I already have Starfield via gamepass ultimate.
I sold starfield code here on MM you need 1k of posts to have access , I activated with the qualifying AMD hardware and gave buyer access to my AMD rewards log in where they redeemed to steam

This is looking fairly confusing for someone 8 years out of PC upgrading.... (well it isn't - everyone moans about prices on release!) but this subject seems particularly sensetive!

What are the well informed generally saying..... is a 6750xt at £330ish plus starfield going to be better value that a £450 7700xt? Or I am going to regret going lower when I get that 1440p monitor and start cranking the settings back up on games again?

I was tempted by a £480 7800xt "elsewhere" but thinking I may be better putting that £130 over a 6750 into a monitor choice.

So basically like most people were saying, the 7800 XT is the successor to the 6800 non-XT and AMD are playing silly buggers with the naming in an attempt to exploit customers naivety.

Really the 7700xt should be the 7700, the 7800xt should be 7700xt.

7900xt should be 7800, 7900gre should be 7800xt

7900xtx should be 7900xt

Both amd and Nvidia has played silly sausages with the naming this gen, making comparisons difficult to judge at the correct level with the confusion, is it price gouging? Possibly.

Though when you look at the cards in their own right they are reasonable value.

There appears essentially no reason for me to upgrade my 6800xt to the 7800, but with the adjusted naming path i should be looking at what they've named the 7900xt (true 6800xt replacement)

If you intend to keep the card for a very long time, the RX7800XT is around 50% faster than an RX6700XT/RTX3060TI. The extra VRAM might be useful too.

Absolutely not.

I got a 6900 XT for £600 during the boom. A 7900 XTX (at the current £900 for the Sapphire Pulse) is 50% more performance for 50% more money. Nvidia are even worse.

That's the sort of price to performance improvements only this gen can offer. Buy now!

Given the absolute state of AAA gaming I'm going back to playing Vampire Survivors :D

I have seen the XFX Qick at £429 for the 7700XT. TBH that sounds pretty decent to me. Especially if the overclock translate into gaming perf.

Seems the AIBs are competing on those like, now. Which is fantastic.

So basically they are back to leaving IN the OC headroom. Now that is brilliant news !

I don't agree. The 7700XT absolutely batters the 6700XT. Ironically they got the name spot on with that. It performs a little better than a 6800.

The 7800XT? should be a 7800, with another card sat between the XT and 7900XT.

Sadly doesn't translate to games according to GURU 3D. It's 3Dmark OC results.

The RX7700XT overclock a lot!!

The problem is that's just a 3D mark test and not games

Guru 3D benchmarked games and said the overclocked performance is 3% to 5% higher than stock for the 7700xt and 7800xt, nowhere near the 17% increase seen in 3D mark by techpowerup
