Anyone Using an Asus DSL-AC68U

Mine turned up yesterday after my trusty ECI + 7800N failed (capacitor blew in the 7800N). Unfortunately my connection has been set to interleaved

.

I'm on an ECI cabinet so not G.INP yet, would these be correct?

I have installed the latest firmware from the ASUS site.

I'll have a feeling I'll always be interleaved. It always has since starting out with Zen.

I've been with Zen in two properties (One next door to the cab) over the past year or so and both connections have been interleaved. My folks joined Sky fibre on the 11th and get half the pings I do

I went with Zen as i needed the static address but didn't want to to pay for the aaisp units. Been spot on IMO.

I've created a new thread so not to clog this one up. I'm still waiting to get my hands on my DSL-AC68U.
Give it a couple of days. Normal little blips to interleaved tend to only take a few days to turn around. Hopefully it does the same for you.

I'm not too sure. I believe Zen is in the ISP list so just select that, Input your username and password and leave the rest as normal. If you start experiencing dropouts then you may possibly have to enable the ESNP function.

Settings are the same as I have with the exception of ESNP which I have set to Stable as I know my line isn't perfect so I wanted to minimise chance of DLM intervention.

Might be worth setting that on yours - won't make an immediate difference as DLM will take time to restore fastpath, anything from a few days to a couple of weeks going by past experience.

Yeah it is those are the settings it defaulted to. Just really annoying interleaved came on when i plugged in the ASUS lol.

No reason not to enable G.INP though, it will cause no issues being enabled until your cabinet is enabled.

I fiddled with my settings today and enabled G inp and vectoring and my speed dropped by 10mbs.

Do you think the DLM stepped in as i also fiddled with some settings in the morning ?

How long does it normally take for DLM to restore my previous speed ?

I dont know if having G.inp and vectoring is the right settings for talktalk fibre.

I have disabled them again now. Not sure if to enable them. Does anyone know if talktalk support G.inp and vectoring ?

Possibly this issue noted a few pages back? Possibly not if it was fine before you were making adjustments.

No my speed was ok before I did these settings. I checked in the morning.

I just went and found my cabinet. Im 100% sure its an ECI one so I have turned G inp on and left vectoring off.

Ok, My unit has arrived, Newest firmware installed, Factory reset complete and setup. Only setting I changed was putting G.INP to on.

Initial stat changes I've noticed were:

Max attainable went up by 13Mb but is slowly dropping (Now at 83Mb from 89Mb after 20 mins).

SNR down on the HG612 remained stable around 7, On the ASUS it is fluctuating around 4.5-5dB

Line attenuation has gone from 17.3 down to 10.9dB.

Connection speed has gone from 74000 down to 70665, Upload remained the same.

Power up and down remain the same. What do you use to host pictures here? Just upload to photobucket or similar and post the img file?

Just had a disconnect at 28 hour mark, log just gives me the following:-

Connection has been back now for an hour and a half, CRC currently at 0 & 0.
