Anyone using Wegovy?

I'm wondering if i could supplement the Ozempic with a small dose of mounjaro privately to kick start the lose agaim. It's the same active ingredient.
Ozempic and mounjaro are two different drugs one is semaglutide the other is trizepitide

are you getting insulin shots as well?
if so, seeing glucose level is managed, ask doctors reduce/drop insulin first before jumping to mixing online drugs

and I do recommend low carb diet to manage arthritis and maybe the overeat issues
I've tried low carb. It did work for me but is too restrictive for long term. The main foodstuffs are all high carb. I.e rice pasta bread potatoes. It makes for a very boring diet. Also I found after about 6 weeks I'd start craving sweet things where normally I don't have a sweet tooth.

Yes your right I was mixing wegovy up with mounjaro. I've contacted my gp to ask to move from ozempic to mounjaro. I suspect it'll help with sugar levels and weight loss to start again. I've also had difficult to control high blood pressure since I was 24 and found that went down to near perfect levels but has also started to creep up again with the weight increase. For me it's not about being fat. It's about health. Diabetic nurse appointment has been booked for me but I have to wait until the end of March

Wouldn't trust anything named "Wegovy" - sounds like it's been named by the same guy that thought "Banggood" was a decent name for a shop!

when i switched from wegovy to mounjaro i had to wait 5 weeks for the wegovy to get out of my system. They used words like overdose etc.

I would not do anything without sound medical advice. Please do not seek medical advice/justification on an internet forum.

a private GP/place that sells these drugs likely wont touch you if you divulge you have high blood pressure.

Remote call with a Boots quack and then you pay £200/mo? Right, hardly a difficult one to lie your way through given all of the "guidance" in this thread.
I had a remote prescription thing (not boots though), I had to provide an unedited video of me holding up my ID, then panning to a full body mirror view, then panning down to a scale and stepping on.
Not sure what else the remote prescription could verify that you couldn't lie about face to face with any other doctor?

That was my point - it is as good as self-prescribing. Diagro was the chap who said you can't self prescribe.

Not sure how you read that from my post? It's not self prescribing. You have to meet all the clinical requirements in order for a GP to prescribe it. It's self-requested but it's still vetted as well as any face to face GP would vet it, surely?

Didn't you just say you only had to send a video of you on some scales? :S

How is that different from a GP checking my ID, looking at my ginormous gut and then weighing me?
At risk of going around in circles - my point was this thread is wild as it is bordering on medical advice/how to cocktail up these meds to avoid putting any self-discipline into weight loss. I said it is effectively self-prescribed. You said no it isn't, you have to send them a video. I said that is hardly an argument to say it isn't self prescribed. No other point made.

You think you know better than the docs now?

I'm gonna need some popcorn for this one :D
Can you please stop following me around the forum like some kind of bad smell - you haven't posted in this thread since November. Do you have me tagged or something pathetic like that?

That was my 10th post in this thread. Unfortunately for you, I was posting in it long before you and I also frequently read it like I'm sure most others do.

This is the same for pretty much any thread on here.

The common denominator here of course is the sheer amount of threads I see you Karening in.

But yes, please do flatter yourself by thinking that somehow I follow you around if it makes you feel better :D

Except it's not. A prescription can only be written by a medical professional. Self-prescription is said medical professional writing a prescription for themselves.
By "effectively" self prescribed do you mean that I myself chose and authorised this treatment and a doctor just rubber-stamped it?
It's still prescribed by a doctor who does due diligence (one hopes...) and thus nowhere near self-prescribed.
