Anyone using Wegovy?

At risk of going around in circles - my point was this thread is wild as it is bordering on medical advice/how to cocktail up these meds to avoid putting any self-discipline into weight loss. I said it is effectively self-prescribed. You said no it isn't, you have to send them a video. I said that is hardly an argument to say it isn't self prescribed. No other point made.

Can you please stop following me around the forum like some kind of bad smell - you haven't posted in this thread since November. Do you have me tagged or something pathetic like that?

That was my 10th post in this thread. Unfortunately for you, I was posting in it long before you and I also frequently read it like I'm sure most others do.

This is the same for pretty much any thread on here.

The common denominator here of course is the sheer amount of threads I see you Karening in.

But yes, please do flatter yourself by thinking that somehow I follow you around if it makes you feel better :D

Except it's not. A prescription can only be written by a medical professional. Self-prescription is said medical professional writing a prescription for themselves.
By "effectively" self prescribed do you mean that I myself chose and authorised this treatment and a doctor just rubber-stamped it?
It's still prescribed by a doctor who does due diligence (one hopes...) and thus nowhere near self-prescribed.

I
It surely seems like it - which on its own is 'ok whatever' but when you see folk with other issues proposing a cocktail of drugs to help accelerate stunted weight loss it is quite worrying.

Of course it's insane to just recommend a cocktail of drugs - but no GP is going to approve that regimen, so the only way to do it would be to lie in your history and hope that your NHS record hasn't been updated with the private prescriptions, and for said GP to not do any kind of checking.

One of the posts literally advises to go private to get the answer you want and then railroad it into your regular GP lol. It is guidance on how to frig the drug to your desired doses.

But whatever, not a medical thread right

Worrying for who? You? Why?

Have you taken any of these products?

Do you know anyone who's taken any of these products?

Are you considering taking any of these products?

Have you researched any of these products, and if so can you post your sources?

You can see where I'm going with this right?

In case it's not clear, it's got absolutely nothing to do with you, you have no clue what you're talking about, you have no horse in this race and yet you're still in here sticking your nose where it doesn't belong.

Again.

Ask questions all you want and I'm sure people will happily answer them but but bringing your ignorance and your comments in to yet another thread where you've got no clue is only gonna go one way isn't it?

Update on my OH. She’s been on wegovy now since August and has dropped from 20st 10lb to 17st 0.5lb.

Still a long way to go but as a person who has had a very unhealthy relationship with food. The lack of noise in the single biggest thing helping her on at the moment.

She steadily increased dose to 1.7mg which she’s maintained for 3 months now I believe. She won’t move up until her appetite comes back before injection day.

Privately prescribed via boots (who need weights and photos before they first prescribe) and have been paying full price for it.

Tbh it’s cheaper than the gym + therapy, which neither have worked in the past.
