I find that when adjusting colours with Nvidia colour control it's brilliant, can't fault the panel, blacks are brilliant too. I'd expect it'd be a step up, I have a 32" Samsung TV from 2014 and this is a step up. Not a patch on my 49" MU6400 though.

Hi. What settings did you use of the Nvidia control panel? Did you also use the Icc profile? I'm also considering a 4k TV, have you ever tried the resolution 2560x1440 60hz on that TV (mu6400) with the PC?

I can give it a go tonight hopefully and let you know the settings. Before I had a GTX1080 I had to lower the res for GTA V as the 7970 couldn't push 4k and I remember thinking it scaled very well, looked perfectly fine .

Thanks so much. Do you remember what resolution you were running gta 5? One YouTuber said that the 2560x1440 resolution does not work in all games with the TV. Do you know something about it?

As long as it's the same aspect ratio I can't see a problem, res scaling seems really good on my AOC and Samsung TV it's not like

The TV I think, I think the Samsung is defenitly a better display. Mine is 49" though.

Yup, from the review:

i tried, if i remember correctly max its 76hz (or not even that).
the lowest is 41.

if you try it tell us what you got.

Thanks for that. I don't own the screen but thought about getting it.. still can't make my mind up. Seems some of the darker transitions are a tad to slow for my liking..however it would make a great movie monitor for dirt cheap money. arrrg decisions

yeah black/white transitions are a tad problematic.
even in movies, in some scenes (mostly super dark ones) you see some of that transition effect.
also in some forums (with white backgrounds).

for that kind of money if you are out for a 32'' 1440p monitor its dirt cheap... even if you pay double the money, you wont get a much better monitor.

BUT if you play competitive fps games (mostly ones with dark elements) then its a NO GO.

My AOC Q3279VWF no longer returns from sleep mode???!!! Have switched out the displayport cable to no effect.

(Update) Haven't fixed this but I'm pretty sure that this is a graphics card or windows software problem.

(Update) the AOC monitor is detected at POST but as soon as it gets to windows it is detected no more.

fixed it -
somehow the option for multiple displays had come to be set on "show only on 1" instead of "extend display"

I have this monitor and i like it especially at the price i paid (£200). I do not seem to detect the problems people have mentioned on here guess its different for everyone.
