we are all just trying to make do, man, i am so desperate for my 3080 :D i've just got a Samsung G9 and my 1080ti I currently have is coughing up blood trying to game on that thing, currently 8th in the queue, just praying it till be this month!

are you in the Aorus Discord? been chatting to some people from around the world that have managed to get one and they do look incredible

Nah mate, can't bring myself to look at anyone having that card. Being #1 in the queue makes me want to cry everytime I look at one. Fingers crossed this month too.
 
Personally I think any card can be vertically mounted IF you have ample space between the gpu fans and glass. Theres something to be said about the blow thru design and how it may increase temps on ram/chipset but I think that was kinda debunked already

GV-N3070AORUS M-8GD 1.0 = High teens

GV-N3070AORUS M-8GD 1.1 = Low number

GV-N3070EAGLE OC-8GD = Very high teens

GV-N3070EAGLE-8GD = Very small number

GV-N3080AORUS M-10GD = Very small number

GV-N3080AORUS X-10GD = Very small number

GV-N3080GAMING OC-10GD = Low teens

Thanks for the update @GIGA-Man . Was hoping to see more 3080 Masters down the pipeline but I guess a small amount is better than none at all. Can we assume these quantities OC has been receiving are comparable to other retailers?

I imagine the Very Small number of 3080 Xtremes will be 3 again, just wish it was 8 :D

Hope the pre-lockdown jobs went as expeccted! Apologies for asking the same question everyone is asking - but if you could give an update on the Aorus Xtreme 3090 I'd be grateful. I understand demand is crazy high and there are lots of supply-side bottlenecks, but any colour on when numbers will pick up woudl be great. I'm 13th in the OverclockersUK queue for the 3090 Xtreme :)

Also - thanks for engaging with customers on the forums. Really appreciated!

Pre-builts and pre-orders are different stocks, different orders, different departments.

it has never, ever been specified these were pre-order specific cards could have been 1 for preorder, 2 for pre-builts.
Also Staff could have been able to pre-order before the general release, and might not have been given an order number so weren't added to the general queue.
there is no conspiracy, they have not been re-selling cards that come in, they have enough money from all of our orders sitting in an account gaining interest to not need to do this

while the lack of communication from OCUK has fuelled part of the fire, but being hostile to other people in the same situation as you is just ******.

It is people getting angry and riled up that is making OCUK/Gigabyte not want to comment, because if things don't go exactly to the letter of each message, people will kick off even more.

This point is moot, they made the rules for the queue, and the rule was that the queue would be per graphic cards, they didn't specific that it would be per graphic cards + per type or purchase. Either way, why they didn't announce that they did receive it and allocated to pre-built systems? Communication is key, and if they are hiding communication it sounds ominous.

If staff pre-ordered, they are just another user, they should have a queue number, and have to wait, that is ok, but this is also a moot point because we have the queue number 1 guy here saying that he havent moved over this batch of 3...
 
I'm at #72 for the 3080 Master. Im trying to mentally accept i won't have mine within the next 6 months if this 3 or 4 cards every 2 weeks trend keeps going on. I thought production was supposed to increase after golden week? Lol
