Apex Legends BR

Does everyone suffer from packet loss in this game, aka the 3 red squares. I get this warning every game, so is it just me, the game or my internet.

Only when I first load into the drop ship. After that sweet as.

How are you connected to the router? WiFi, PLA? Cable? What internet service are you using? 4G, Virgin, FTTC? Are you using a VPN of any sort?

Have noticed that am getting kicked off when joining a server and going back to title screen. Very annoying.
 
Yea only happens at start of match but occasionally get an off set line too, and during match get a dial. Running a wired connection with virgin. Superhub in modem mode with edgerouter 4 as router. Just ordered fttp with ghost, on the expensive side but hopefully worth it.
 
Not sure what was in the small update that went out yesterday...but I was in a good little last two scrap in a late circle at Thunderdome...and the game locked up :(

Between the crashes, freezes, and code:leaf errors, it's becoming a proper trial to enjoy the game atm.
 
Any ideas why my update is stuck on 8.46gb and won't go any further??

Tried restarting client/pc etc - but gets to 8.46gb each time and won't update further?

I've seen nothing negative about the game on reddit.

It's worrying that they have made it worse in the past month and is so buggy it's now unplayable. At least pubg with all its faults you could still play a full match.

The servers I feel will always be an issue. That's ea for you. Respawn needs to part ways and team up with amazon or Microsoft or go independent and charge a base amount for the game to stop cheaters like £10
 
Game has gone to total crap for me.

Playing 1440p (with most settings disabled,only using high model rest low)

Was getting 90fps from drop ship this is now 50fps and FPS is nowhere near where it was

Im on 8700k and gtx 1080

i get the same mate, its utter poo.

The only game that makes me want to upgrade my GPU.
 
even reinstalled my PC just to make sure but still same.

benched my pc (only running 4.4 all cores - just to rule out CPU) GPU at stock with increased Fan profile ( to rule out heat) temps all fine.

UserBenchmarks: Game 118%, Desk 139%, Work 122%
CPU: Intel Core i7-8700K - 104.2%
GPU: Nvidia GTX 1080 - 125.6%
SSD: Samsung 970 Evo NVMe PCIe M.2 250GB - 273.4%
RAM: Unknown CMK16GX4M2B3200C16 029E CMK8GX4M2B3200C16 029E CMK16GX4M2B3200C16 029E CMK8GX4M2B3200C16 24GB - 102.5%
MBD: Asrock Z370 Extreme4

Tried old GPU drivers, tried latest ones (which seem to perform even worse)


still around 50 FPS from drop ship at 1440p and hovers around 100s (sometime hits 144) with frequent drops.

before was getting 90fps from drop ship and mostly hitting the 144h fps with the usual drops.

pretty sure its not my PC, Im out of ideas.
 
Played about an hour today. In between the 50% code:leaf errors...had two complete lockups, and one DXGI_DEVICE_HUNG assert. Worked fine before the last patch.

I'm similar but 1080Ti, just clocked it as I was getting really bad frame rates after the drop ship. Usually about 120 in the ship and falling then on the ground 80-90.
I play everything ultra but I'm site it used to be better.
 
My frames still seem ok at 1440p UW on Vega 64, but I’ve noticed my pc has been like a furnace lately playing this, so something has changed and it’s working much harder. And don’t think it’s just due to warmer weather as it was the same last night when it was wet / cooler most of the day!
 
not noticed any performance dips (wc'd vega64) but the disconnects are abysmal at the minute. think they've borrowed the lobby from pubg of old!!
 
Back to Back to back wins this morning with 2 random guys - joined up after first game and won 2 more! - nice.

The devotion with extended mag and turbo plus gold barrel mod is DISGUSTING.....so much damage
