Just to confirm here.. ITunes 10.6.0.40 installed on Windows 7 x64 and working.

As I type IOS 5.1 is "installing" on IPad 2 i.e. it's done downloading and now installing (the black screen with the grey apple with the progress bar at 3/4). I will update you soon... I have used OTA though.

I will do the IPhone 3GS some other time (once servers have calmed down).

EDIT: IOS 5.1 working on IPAD 2

Which method did you use to download it? iPad Settings, nor iTunes 10.6 seem to be able to connect to the iPad server

Forget the high resolution display... that's the most impressive upgrade.

Yeah, I think it's slightly thicker and heavier, but looking over the video at the moment.... The most impressive achievement without a doubt is that battery life is just as good....

I got iTunes 10.6 through Software Update (not Check for updates... in iTunes). iOS 5.1 was available quite quickly in my Settings app on iPhone 4S

Exactly, our ipad 1 is now worthless my son might as well have it. Hell I might as well use it a dinner plate mat

I used Ipad settings and OTA. It needs 1.0GB free space though.
