**Apple Media Event - September 12th **

Thinking of trading my 4 in, CPW are currently offering £175 for the 16GB. Do people reckon this price will plummet after the 12th? Wondering if its best to trade in, ahead of the 12th?

That goes against what they said iCloud is for...

"All your contacts/mail/calendars/documents/pictures pushed to the cloud and back to all your devices" (or something to that effect).

I can see it's benefits as the "old system" may catch some people out (imagine a guy on a night out taking some saucy pictures which are currently being beemed back to the apple TV where the mrs is with her family... *cringe*).

Like I said make of it what you will. The guy could have just been spouting off. But he designs for apple on a contracting basis and he mentioned it to me.

Just thought I'd mention it on here as it sounded half interesting

What's the deal with apple releasing a tv? Has that all gone quiet again?

I've been reading macstories.net et al.. and it does appear to have gone quiet. I fail to see the appeal really. I would reckon the cost of the panel alone would be waaay too expensive. If you look at the costs of the ACD's (which are amazing).

Would be interesting to see though...

Why can't they stream these events live for everyone? I hate having to follow a updating blog / website for news or watch a live stream of some muppet regurgitating everything...

exclusivity. They probably want the world to talk n talk n talk about the events going on to build up massively excitement. People sharing / talking about what they have seen.

Don't know if I should remain on O2 for this. Contract due for renewal next month, perfect timing for the new iphone, however the area I am in O2 has no 3g coverage.

Orange is the best for this area. But with all this 4g coming, wondering whether it means anything to remain with O2 or jump ship.

I'm planning on going on some 1 mont contracts so I can try a few networks out and see how they are

I may as well just leave O2 tbh, it's not like they will try and keep me by offering a better deal for the new iphone.

They normally don't budge on the prices for the new iphones. Even though I will of been with O2 for 8years now.

Don't really want to leave, but what use is a phone now without 3g or better :)

Customer loyalty has long gone out of the window (unless you're on Orange I believe whom give quite good discounts)

3G at home wouldn't worry me as I've got wifi. What about the places you go? What's coverage like there?

Besides orange are one of the first out the box with 4g
