Ive got 2 orders in and neither with OCUK. MSI Trio and FTW Ultra.

Im happy to wait and see if they turn up as both are priced at £759.

I managed to get my order in at 11am from the big retailer when they allowed orders with no stock. Good news is that if stock does arrive it will go out without issue.

As a serving met officer I can quiet confidently confirm that report will go absolutely knowhere fast and thats if the call handler even puts one on.

Little bit of advice from someone in the know, even if you checked out at one price and they took another it is not theft under section 1 of the theft act (perminantly apropriating property belonging to another with the intent to perminantly deprive the other of it) nor is it a fraud matter under the fraud act 2006 it is actually a civil matter that would need to be pursued through a civil court.

1. you would never get through to 101 and get a report on that quickly!
.2. The crime is put on by one person and then screened to another to investigate so you would not even have spoken to a police officer yet!
3. That would have never even generated a report because its a civil matter!!!
4. If you managed to get through to a numpty that considered that a crime it would be considered a fraud at best and you would have been directed to action fraud!
 
So, spoke to the competitor my order is with. They have no definitive ETA on the Zotac cards, but have been informed it will be the end of October! Angry is an understatement. Gigabyte Eagle OC, they said some point next week, but no set date. Poor! Apparently, their systems were overloaded, so they just allocated cards to whoever, it didn't matter what time you ordered, it was dependant on when they made it through the system. I know people who ordered at 14:03 and haven't had theirs, but people at 14:21 who have.

ive been a customer/on these forums for nearly 20 years and seen so many hardware launches and believe me if OcuK can make an extra buck or two by taking advantage of the situation they will do it

dont blame them tbh who doesnt love money :D
 
How desperate can someone be to involve police for a bloody GPU.. also to buy/preorder from 2-3 place at the same time. Jesus!

It was messy yes, but it's just a piece of hardware not a part of you.

I do hope that the 3090 and 3070 launches are handled better, by nVidia and everyone else.
 
Gave in an ordered the TUF OC in the hope that not many would pay the extra for the OC.

The price increase is frustrating, but OCUK did fully refund my 970 back in the day even though it sat here (mostly in the box) for around 6 months.
