At this rate, We all will be here by Easter. Don't know why Nvidia even realiser's a card when its not even fully ready yet for the mass market.

Because they are paranoid!
All the NDA, there was very little time to put the boards together. That's why we are in this mess, but it's done them more harm than good.

After asking about the official queue system, when we can expect it, and given that others had been told their queue position over the phone, where I was in the queue, I received this just now (a few days after sending the webnote):



So apparently 1) The queue emails should be coming out now to people, and 2) they haven't told anyone any estimates for their queue position.

Someone is either not in the loop, telling porkies, or doing something they're not meant to be doing.

That kinda makes sense but still even if there rushed it out, It puts a bad name on Nvidia for not having cards ready, Many will go over to AMD by time cards are properly dispatched, So Nvidia will still lose out iver way.

I don't understand why they get the money if they had no dates or no product

I know it wasn't expected the sales neither the issues the card had, but the lack of organisation and comunication annoys me.

I dont see the point of a queue system unless OcUK know when and how many cards there getting each week/month

1 week Asus for instance could ship out 6 cards next week a month latter that could ship out 100 to OcUK

No but seriously, PS5 is a good bit of kit but it's also less powerful than a PC from 2 years ago, so it's not really worth talking about in the same breath as the 3080.

I doubt many will switch due to that reason along. Nvidia might not have many in the wild atm but they still are the market leader and people will favour nvidia over amd due to it. I don’t think nvidia rushed out to beat amd to the market they did it to cut off consoles. A Xbox one series x power is about on par with a 600£ graphic card 2080 450£ Xbox vs nvidia 3070 and 3080

looks so much better that there mainstream high end gpu are a lot more powerful on paper and spec’s that’s why they jumped the gun on this realise and we’re all waiting for our shinny new gpu and bag of Sweets from overclockers

Its not ocuk folt its the shipping and how little of the cards there getting in, Its like trying to fill a bucket of water from a dripping tap

No more mob mentality, refreshing the forum and every store worldwide 3000 times a day for scraps of information.
Feels like we all are fighting some epic battle of good and evil right now. Don’t know if I want it to end.

I returned mine I was 11 days over on my return and I still got a full refund somehow, wish I kept it now and upgraded last year lmao
