Are Nvidia Going to Support Freesync?

If we not meant to run it then why did they give us the option?

Said every stupid person, who has done something stupid - ever.

All you can do is post Digs and insults at people! Least Mart is having a discussion..

Your posts are an insult, but they're funny as **** hence why i've not blocked you. I'm sure you'll RTM all posts you disagree with though, so no worries.

Please stop Shankly, you are sounding more and more stupid with each post. Take off the AMD glasses and think about what you are saying before posting again

I give up. You must be trolling.
Or, you simply don't understand what PhysX is.

I'd give up. I went through this with him months ago and it was as agonising then as it appears to be now.

You have the option to put your multiplier to 60. Doesn't mean you should.
It's just an option, it doesn't work that well, performance takes a nose dive. And most games do disable it. I remember running it on Alice Returns and performance would just tank at certain monsters.

But by definition, these titles are all PhysX only.

And that's my point the titles that do have it disabled are PhysX only titles..
And you correct Performance is bad vs having it off.. Didn't stop me completing it though.

They're *all* PhysX only. Not just the disabled ones (And frankly the disabled ones are arguably better for the consumer).

If you want to struggle along with a game dipping into the teens and single digits for the sake of a few none game changing effects, be my guest.

Nvidia publicly offered to share PhysX with ATI/AMD back in 2008, AFAIK ATI/AMD never picked up the phone.

And according to amd they had discussions with nvidia and behind the scenes they were told it wasn't happening despite the public offering. So who do you believe? Both companies are known for their line of BS.

Tbh Batman wasn't that bad, it ran mostly on a i5 2500k and 7950 avg around 40fps very playable..

And you couldn't understand either that the PhysX I was running was the same thing as running GPU PhysX.. Reason for that video! Once I shown you that video you had nothing else to say..

No I just gave up because you clearly haven't got a clue what you're talking about hence all of the people in this thread lining up to tell you exactly that.

Running a 120HZ screen like you, I'd rather not only play at 40 FPS for a few effects.

What makes you think I was using this BenQ? at the time I was using PC on my 60hz TV

And I like the effects, each to there own.. But maybe I do come around very Anti AMD but they is tech I do like from nvidia and that is PhysX.. Is it something I think worth paying the premium for no.. Am I happy to run it from the CPU if the game allows it Yes..

Simple answer not all the PhysX games I would play.. I think its only Batman and Metro that I did enjoy playing.. Is that worth me changing? no
Do I enjoy more AMD titles yes..

The way you are going on, I assumed you were desperate for GPU PhysX and felt you were being harshly treated by not getting it when you got your AMD GPUs. I will have to assume you didn't know that GPU PhysX runs on nVidia GPUs only when you purchased your 290s and therefore, you only have yourself to blame for buying wrongly and not researching.

Edit:

And just to add, you can enjoy AMD titles just as much on nVidia hardware and not lose out on any graphical superlatives.
